Mary S. Young parkrun Recurring

Welcome to the third annual Milwaukie Mile! Our goal is to provide a safe and fast course for all members of the community to race their pace and set a new personal best in the mile! The course runs gently downhill along the Trolley Trail, starting at the Park Avenue Max Station and finishing in Milwaukie Bay Park. The race will be held the morning of Saturday July 11th, 2026.

The race is open to runners, walkers, and families with strollers. Dogs are not allowed to accompany runners, walkers, or volunteers. You can spectate with your dog on a leash, but please stand back from the course when doing so for the safety of the participants.

Please note - T-shirt size and availability are not guaranteed for registrations after July 1st.

Awards

All registered participants will receive a Milwaukie Mile T-shirt. The top-3 finishers in the following categories will receive a special award:

• Non-binary

• Open Women

• Open Men

• 18 and under Girls

• 18 and under Boys

Transportation

The race starts only a few steps from the Park Ave Orange Line Max Station. Participants and spectators are encouraged to use public transportation to travel to the race! If you must drive to the race, auto users are encouraged to park in Downtown Milwaukie or at the Park Ave park and ride garage

Donations

A portion of the race proceeds will be donated to the Milwaukie High School Cross Country team. If you want to make a dedicated donation to the team to support their 2026 season, we will gladly pass 100% of your donation on to the team! Any amount given would be greatly appreciated and thank you for your generosity! Please click the Donate tab above to donate directly.

DAY OF REGISTRATION WILL OPEN at 7:45am SATURDAY.

The 5k event will be returning to the Oregon City High School Cross Country Course this year. Open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. The terrain is stroller friendly: short grass, packed gravel and a new dirt trail though a wooded area.

All entrants receive the 2026 Honey Run shirt.

The best SWAG BAGS ever this year!!! The first 200 runners to register online receive the custom SWAG BAG full of local gifts.

Because of the growing size of our event we are expanding our awesome Honey Awards. 2 women's divisions, 2 men's divisions (age groups TBA)

Check-In and 'Day of Registration' opens at 7:45am on September 12, 2026. Cannot guarantee shirt/size for day of registrants.

Food and Drink vendors will be onsite during the Honey Run, and throughout the high school invitational that follows.

Strut Your Kidney - Hybrid - 5K, 10K, Family Fun Run/Walk/Roll or Virtual

Strut Your Kidney to celebrate, honor, and raise awareness for children with chronic kidney disease. All proceeds raised will go to Northwest Kidney Kids, the only organization supporting children with kidney disease and their families in the Northwest. Let's come together as a community so celebrate and fundraise for our amazing kidney families!

Here is how it works...

Step 1. Register to run/walk/roll or our fun run and invite your friends to join!

Step 2. Help NW Kidney Kids raise more awareness and financial support for children with kidney disease and their families.

Step 3. Run/walk/roll with us in person on Sunday September 21st 2025 or on your own and on your own time!

*If on your own, submit your time and a finishing photo to be added to the Strut Your Kidney results leader board. Post a picture of your run to Facebook or Instagram using #strutyourkidney.

*For registrations after September 1st we can not guarantee swag availability.

Caminé Con Orgullo Su Riñón es para celebrar y crear conciencia para los niños que sufren de enfermedades crónicas de los riñones. Todas las ganancias serán para “Northwest Kidney Kids”, la única organización que apoya a niños con enfermedades de riñón y a sus familias en el Noroeste. Vamos a juntarnos como comunidad, pero manteniendo la distancia, para apoyar esta gran causa.

Así es como funciona…

Paso # 1. Registrate para correr/caminar/hacer cualquier otra actividad en el maratón. Y/O participar en la carrera de diversión ¡Invita a tus amigos a participar!
