Join us on March 14th for the tenth annual Newtown Shamrock Shuffle 5k..because everyone is a little bit Irish on St. Patrick's Day!

This Shamrock Shuffle offers more than your typical 5K. Once you finish running through historic Newtown, we invite you to keep the party going! In lieu of the Irish Festival this year we are beginning a Shuffle through Newtown where participating bars, restaurants, and shops will be offering specials and giveaways. More details to be announced.

All 5k participants will receive a custom finisher medal and quality finisher shirt! Our loved race course through historic Newtown will also remain the same as previous years.

Time Limit- All participants must maintain a 20 minute per mile pace (a speed walking pace) and be able to complete the course within 60 minutes or less of crossing the start line.

    Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026 starting before the crack of dawn.

    Start and Finish: Washington Crossing Park, PA at General Greene Pavilion

    Relay Teams: Limited to 30 teams. Each team is a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 7.

    Team Seeding: Team start times are based on the team’s overall 5K times as submitted for each

    individual. Use your best 5K time this year.

    Awards: will be provided to the first team to the finish line and also to the fastest team!

    Celebration: A bonanza of food follows the race at General Greene Pavilion.

    Shirt Guarantee Deadline: Registration deadline to guarantee a B2B shirt is Wednesday, 8/26.

    B2B Course: approximately 53 miles. 2 loops (26.5 miles) from Washington Crossing Park, PA to Centre Bridge to Stockton, NJ, then Scudders Falls from NJ to Yardley, PA.

    From Washington Crossing, the loop travels north on the towpath to Cente Bridge over to Stockton, NJ, then south on the towpath to the Scudders Falls Bridge in Yardley, then back to Washington Crossing General Greene Pavilion.

    It's required that a representative of each new team drives the course once. We offer tours upon request.

    Note: the course is subject to change or cancellation due to weather, construction, and other factors beyond our control.

    Estimated 53.0 miles = two 26.5-mile loops, mostly on the towpath.

    Two Bridge Crossings: Centre Bridge from PA to Stockton, NJ. Scudders Falls from NJ to Yardley, PA.

    Some Basic Rules: Teams switch runners at the below approved exchanges only at legal

    stops/parking spots. Runners can run multiple legs in a row per team strategy, and multiple runners can run a leg together if you choose. This is for fun.

    There is no parking or stopping on NJ Route 29 shoulders or on PA Route 32 other than legal lots/spots. We have permits to use the route, and we must follow both state laws.

    Teams are responsible for their own running and support supplies.

    Search for “Peddler’s Village” or more specifically Cock ‘n Bull:

    GPS address systems vary for this location, so we recommend using the general 2400 Street Road, New Hope, PA address, and then referencing the Peddler’s Village map (#54 on the map) to locate the restaurant and parking.

    ⛄What to expect from this VERY SPECIAL event⛄:

    🎆Joggers & walkers will be treated to the beautiful Peddler’s Village lights & holiday as you wind in and around the village.

    🎇You’ll then run or walk under the famous Peddler’s Village arch of lights and finally enter the finish line and end under the finish arch, with snow falling and holiday music playing as you are then handed a WELL DESERVED special Holiday Hustle finisher's medal that will quickly become your favorite medal!

    🎆Everyone with a race bib will be offered hot chocolate & cookies at the finish line!

    🎇Everyone is encouraged to dress up in your holiday costumes, favorite sweaters or whatever! The more folks that dress up the BETTER! (But by no means are you obligated...many will not dress up. And that's cool with us)

    🎆Don't forget to lace up your running shoes with the JINGLE BELLS that we're giving everyone and get ready for a unique, family friendly event that’ll get everyone into the holiday spirit!

    NOTE:

    THIS IS A RELAXING/FUN EVENT…This event is NOT meant to be run fast.

    It’s meant to be jogged or walked and to take in the spectacular holiday lights that have made Peddler’s Village so famous!

    It will not be timed, we encourage everyone to PLEASE walk or jog at an easy pace & enjoy the spectacular lights display.

    ❄Additionally, stores & restaurants as well as the drinking establishments within Peddler’s Village will be offering all registered runners with a race bib, very generous & enticing coupons. So plan to stick around and continue the fun at Peddler’s Village!

    💥Be sure to register early, this race will be capped at 1500 participants!💥

    Registration Note:

    💥Important Note: When registering a child under 4 years old, you do not have to register them in order for them to participate in this event.

    BUT, they will not receive a race bib. So, if you’d like your child that may be under the age of 4 to receive a finisher's keepsake, they will need a race bib.

    We LOVE DOGS (have you seen our logo:-), BUT, at this particular event, we ask that you leave your dogs at home due to the narrowness of the route.
