    Join us on Saturday July 18, 2026 for an exciting "Run for the Dogs Themed" event that features the scenic views of Waubonsie Lake Park in Aurora, IL! With awesome swag for all dog lovers and runners, this race is a sure thing for a great doggy good time! Due to the popularity of this event, we will have 3 start times at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.!

    Join us for the annual MMTT Splash and Dash.

    Distances:

    Junior (age 6 -10) 100 meter swim; 1 Kilometer Run)

    Senior (age 11 – 17) 200 meter swim; 2 Kilometer Run)

    Age is determined by the age of your athlete on race day. If you are 10 years old on race day, you will race in the 10 year old age group.

    Swim Detail:

    The Junior swim will be done in a “snake” fashion with each swimmer swimming one length in each lane (a total of 4 lengths in a 25 meter pool). There will be lifeguards on duty as well as volunteers to make sure each swimmer completes the course in a safe manner. Swimmers will be starting the course one at a time at 10-second intervals. Swimmers will be allowed to pass another swimmer. The Senior racers will have a designated lane (shared with 1 other athlete) and swim down and back until their swim is complete. They will start in waves of 10 Senior athletes.

    Transition Detail:

    Athletes will be able to change into their socks, shoes, etc. in the contained grassy area outside of the pool entrance. Junior competitors should feel free to place their belongings in one of the spots provided upon arriving. Senior athletes should wait until the Junior event is done before placing their belongings in the transition area.

    Run Detail:

    The run course will take place on the trail around the Fitness Center property. Volunteers and an aid station with water will be available on the course.

    Swag:

    USAT to provide finisher medals to participants.

    USA Triathlon Membership required:

    $10 license fee good for one year

    Packet Pick Up / Race Day Registration:

    Race Day – 5pm – 6:15pm. Transition opens at 5pm.

    11 – 12 age group

    13 – 14 age group

    15 – 17 age group

    Thanks to Carol Guist of Baird & Warner Monday Miles will be a fun way to be active by running or walking 1, 2, or 3 miles each Monday evening from 6/1-8/3.

    Come to seven or more Mondays and earn a commemorative 2026 event t-shirt.

    Work all summer and set your goal for the final week’s bib-timed run at our Recycled Run.

    Monday Miles will have a mass start at 6:15pm! Course will be open until 7:15pm.

    Run the Rails is a fun race experience benefiting the Elburn Parks Commission on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026.

    We will host a 1-mile fun run/walk, a 4-mile run and a 7-mile run. All races start and finish at Prairie Park (3rd and North Street near the library), Elburn, IL.

    Unique to our event is a 1 mile fun run, 4 mile run and 7 mile run. Courses cross the Union Pacific West rail line via the Anderson Road bridge, offering a stunning view of Elburn and the surrounding countryside.

    IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE A TANK TOP AT PACKET PICKUP - YOU MUST REGISTER BY AUGUST 11 AND CHOOSE THE OPTION.
