The 3rd Annual I Raced The Law 5k and Color Run* is raising money for the Oswego Public Safety Cadets Post #1833. Proceeds from this race will go towards paying for equipment, training, and towards lowering the cost for participation in the 2027 Public Safety Cadets Summer Showdown. Race against a Police Officer in your age/gender bracket on our course. Everyone gets a t-shirt and if you beat the officer's time you can check off the I Won box on the t-shirt. Also offered this year for the first time is a 1 Mile Color Run.
Race Packet pickup will be at the Oswego Police Department located at 3355 Woolley Rd from 800am to 500pm 4/16/26 and 4/17/26. Day of packet pickup will begin at 800am the morning of the race at the race site. Day of registration begins at 800am.
Race start time is 900am. Award ceremony will begin at 1100 am or 15 minutes after the last runner completes the race.
THIS RACE IS USATF CERTIFIED AND IS CHIP TIMED!
Any Sign Ups after 3/31/26 are not guaranteed a shirt. Extra shirts will be given out on a first come first serve basis on the day of the race.
*Color run powder will most likely wash out of shirts

The PrairieFest 5K will get started at 8:00am with the One Mile Prairie Dog Jog starting at 8:10am.
Celebrate Father's Day with a chip-timed 5K run through Oswego's friendly neighborhoods or the One Mile Prairie Dog Jog around Prairie Point Community Park. Medals for first through third place finishers in each age group in the 5K.
All runners registered by June 3rd are guaranteed a shirt.
There are no refunds for athletic events.

Thanks to Carol Guist of Baird & Warner Monday Miles will be a fun way to be active by running or walking 1, 2, or 3 miles each Monday evening from 6/1-8/3.
Come to seven or more Mondays and earn a commemorative 2026 event t-shirt.
Work all summer and set your goal for the final week’s bib-timed run at our Recycled Run.
Monday Miles will have a mass start at 6:15pm! Course will be open until 7:15pm.

Kids are filled with the energy to swim, bike, and run to the finish line. Coordinated in partnership with the School District's Physical Education teachers, 3rd through 8th graders compete in this noncontinuously timed event consisting of a 100m swim, a 3 mile bike ride, and a ½ mile run (7/8 graders will run 1 mile).
While awards are given to the fastest in each division, the real winners are all the spirited students who bolt from the start and head towards every finish. Everyone receives a t-shirt and finisher medal. Park District athletic events are non-refundable. Registration deadline is September 20.

Since 1985, celebrate Fall with a scenic 10K run down the Fox River and through beautiful downtown Oswego! The chip-timed course begins and ends at Fox Chase Elementary School. Volunteers provide three water stations on the course. Runners registered by 10/29 are guaranteed a hooded sweatshirt. Athletes are invited to enjoy Gobbler Hobbler's famous complimentary walking pancakes after the run. There are no refunds for athletic events.
