Join us for the 3rd Annual Avenir 5K Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in the beautiful community of Avenir, Palm Beach Gardens, as we come together for fitness, fun, and an incredible cause.

This uplifting community event benefits K9s for Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to pairing rescue dogs with military veterans suffering from PTSD, TBI, and military sexual trauma. Together, they help save lives, one veteran and one dog at a time.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, casual jogger, or prefer a relaxed walk with friends and family, this event is for everyone. The course winds through the scenic streets of Avenir and is designed to be enjoyable and accessible for all fitness levels.

Event Highlights Include:

Timed 5K run and untimed fun walk

Community vendors and sponsor booths

Raffle prizes donated by local businesses

Music, post-race refreshments, and great community energy

A meaningful mission supporting veterans and rescue dogs

Last year’s event raised over $30,000, and with your help, we hope to make an even bigger impact in 2026.

    The 6th Annual Bill Bone 5K is an Evening Race on July 4th starting at 7:00pm. The Race raises money for the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund and is known as a “Run to the Fun” because it finishes in Downtown West Palm Beach as part of the 4th on Flagler Celebration festivities.

    After the race, runners and friends are in the best spot to stay and participate in the 4th on Flagler Celebration by taking advantage of our "All You Can Eat" refreshments, which include hot dogs, watermelon, chips, cookies, and lemonade until 8:30pm.There is also free entertainment culminating with an epic display of fireworks and music over the Intracoastal Waterway starting at 9:09pm.

    Every registered runner receives an awesome race shirt, a custom-made finisher medal, hot dogs and watermelon, and a chance to win your choice of some really cool raffle prizes. Additional "Refreshment Package" wrist bands will be available at registration for $5 per person. 5K awards will be given 3-deep for Male & Female age-groups in 5-year increments to 80+.

    Join us on September 26 for the HOW Strong 5K, a race for runners and walkers of all ages, held at Dreher Park South in West Palm Beach, Florida.

    The event features a scenic 5K (3.1-mile) course winding through Dreher Park. Proceeds benefit Hearing the Ovarian Cancer Whisper (H.O.W.), an organization dedicated to empowering women through education, advocacy, and research to support early detection and improved outcomes for ovarian cancer.

    After the race, participants are invited to enjoy a post-run snack and awards ceremony.

    This year, we’re embracing the spirit of Halloween with a costume-themed race, so come dressed in your most fun, spooky, or creative attire!

    All ages and levels are welcome to participate!

    The Alexander Trujillo Foundation is raising funds to support young adult cancer patients ages 18–34. 100% of the proceeds from this event directly support our Grant Program, providing financial assistance to young adults and their caregivers/families undergoing cancer treatment.

    It’s a community event filled with support, faith, hope, and joy. Enjoy a pre‑race warm‑up, post‑race cool‑down, family games, sponsors, music, and this year’s added Trunk‑O‑Treat experience.

    What Does the 5K Benefit?

    The Alexander Trujillo Foundation Grant Fund provides financial support to young adults (ages 18–34) and their caregivers in Florida who are undergoing cancer treatments.

    Who is Alexander Trujillo?

    Alexander Trujillo was a kindhearted 21‑year‑old who courageously battled Acute Lymphocyte Leukemia at Sylvester Cancer Center in 2018. He aspired to become a history professor and dreamed of creating a foundation to support young adults facing cancer.

    After Alex passed away, his family fulfilled his wish by establishing this foundation in his honor—continuing his passion for helping others through faith, support, and compassion.
