Since "THAT NIGHT" so much has been done through the Aden Perry Good Samaritan and Scholarship Fund:

• Aden was awarded the Carnegie Hero Award for his selfless heroic act

• Aden received 2 medals of Valor

• We received 2 proclamations for Aden Perry Day in Broward County AND Aden's home town

• We have received multiple awards for the works being done in Aden's name through the Aden Perry Good Samaritan And Scholarship Fund

• Aden had a street named after him in his hometown of Sunrise Florida at the location of the lake where the accident took place. The street is Aden Perry Way just off of Flamingo Road in Sunrise Florida

• We are now an official 501C3

• We have given hundreds of SAT Prep, book and paid testing fees Scholarships

• Awarded over 60 monetary scholarships to graduating seniors

• AWARDED ANOTHER HERO A FULL SCHOLARSHIP TO FF/ EMT SCHOOL

• Honor students for being a Good Samaritan every year on Aden Perry Day

​Participants have the exciting opportunity to choose between two main events: the Duathlon and the 5K Run/Walk. For those who want the ultimate test of endurance, the challenge even offers the flexibility to participate in both events. Every registrant is treated like a pro, receiving a personalized race bib equipped with an RFID timing chip for precise results, a commemorative event shirt, and a beautiful finisher medal to celebrate their achievement at the finish line.

PLEASE NOTE:

For runners of the 5K, headlamps are not required but are suggested. The course will NOT have overhead lighting. Runway edge lights will be turned on to their highest intensity. However, this is merely for guidance. Sunset is at 7:36 PM, and Civil Twilight ends at 8:02 PM, which basically means you can no longer see any daylight.

For runners of the 10K, headlamps are not required but they are highly encouraged. The course will NOT have overhead lighting.
