7-8 Week Program | 1 Session Every Week

Program Cost: $129*

Program for 1st-6th grade only, no exceptions

Registration opens February 16, 2025 at 8 AM

Programs begin March 4 or later depending on location. Most begin the week of March 17

** In Spring 2025 with changes to early release days, some school programs are 6-7 weeks and others are 8 weeks. Some schools will change times and others will not hold a class on an early release day. In addition, some schools begin as early as 3/4 while others do not start until the more traditional mid-March. These variations are so we can continue to offer the programs given the scheduling constraints associated with the schools. All locations will not hold sessions during spring break, 3/30-4/30. We appreciate your understanding!

RunFit Kidz is offered at local elementary schools in partnership with the PTA/PTO/school leadership. Spring schools are included in the registration options -- area schools share program details through school-specific communications processes. We hope to add additional schools for Fall 2026. Please contact us if you are school representative or parent sponsor.

Four Wednesday Races make for One Great Series

Plan to get off of work a bit early and join over 200 riders for four spectacular weekdays of racing starting May 27th! Pitched as a race “in your own backyard”, W@W features a very down-home and earthy venue. We are keeping the series as grassroots as you can get. But don’t let that fool you, this race series is a highly organized event, that allows for enough riding categories to give everyone a fighting chance.

Bike Lane Race Team works hard to host a community-oriented race series. We have an all-volunteer staff who works closely with our local IMBA club, Mid Atlantic Off Road Enthusiasts (MORE), to make sure we have fun singletrack to race, that is great for everyone from juniors to beginners to elite racers. We also partner with NOVA Cycling, who run the youth races early in the evening.

Wednesdays at Wakefield is not just a few races, it is an epic race series! Some come for one or two events, some even complete four. But for those that are driven, winning the four-race series comes with its own set of prizes! Every place you earn (between 1st and 13th) in the W@W series gives you points towards the Series Championship.

Anything Goes Race - Last race of the series

We’re excited to announce that the final W@W race will feature an "ANYTHING Goes" category! This is your chance to dust off and race that tandem bike, unicycle, or trike buried in your garage. No motors or e-assist are allowed, but cargo bikes, klunkers, retro MTBs, penny farthings, strider bikes, fixies, and big wheels are all welcome. Costumes encouraged—but remember, safety first (it’s still a race).
