The 47th Terri Roemer Paramus Run will kick off at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Paramus, New Jersey. As we did last year, the Run will partner with the Valley Hospital Auxiliary!

Funds raised from the event will benefit the Paramus Scholarship Fund and Valley Home Care's Butterflies, a specialized program for seriously ill children.

10:05 am - 10K Awards

11:00 am - Lou Lanzalotto Memorial 5K Run presented by La Bella Roma Pizzeria and Ristorante and Valley Hospital 5K Health Walk

12:15 pm - One Mile Fun Run for Kids (age 13 and Under)

12:30 pm - 5K Awards, Post-Race Party, and Raffle Drawings (you must be present to win!)

$50 if participating in both the 5K and 10K.

Fun Run $15

Prices go up on September 1st, and again on Race Day.

USA Track and Field sanctioned and certified. Clocks at each mile. Both the 5K and 10K courses pass through scenic, tree-lined residential neighborhoods. The start and finish lines for both races are at Fairfield Inn & Suites at the Paramus Park Shopping Center. Water stations, excellent traffic control, and first-aid coverage throughout the course.     Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.

    Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.

    Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.

    Makeup Date Information: 5/17/2026

    Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.

    Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):

    Our race will be broken up into two divisions: Open and Elite. The elite category will consist of the top ten seed times for each male and female. ONLY the elites will be eligible to receive prizes (Top 3 males and females). The prize will be a Fleet Feet gift certificate, in amounts of $70, $40, and $20 for top 3 (M and F). We will inform you of your placement in the elite category within 24 hours of the race. The majority of entries will be racing in the Open category. The

    Our race will be hand timed, meaning that you will receive your time at the finish line, there will also be a livestream on our Youtube channel which you can refer back to in case you would like to remind yourself of your time! The elite category will be given precise times at the finish.
