The Assistance League® of the Eastside strives to serve the immediate, unmet needs of children and adults challenged by hardship or violence, strengthening our community while fostering dignity, confidence, and hope.

We are holding our second annual 5K at Marymoor Park, Redmond on Saturday, June 6th! Plan to park at Parking Lot K by the tennis courts. The Race starts by Baseball Field #5. Your participation helps us raise funds for our signature program:

Operation School Bell® supports the belief that new school clothing and essential living needs, and the resulting increase in self-esteem and school attendance, contributes to a strong foundation for a child’s successful educational experience. Financial hardship can touch any family, often creating barriers to a child’s success in school. Assistance League of the Eastside’s program Operation School Bell provides funds to students in need, supporting them to shop at their local Fred Meyer stores for essentials like clothing, shoes, books, school supplies, medications, and groceries. These students are carefully selected by school personnel from the Bellevue, Lake Washington, and Northshore School Districts, ensuring your support reaches those who need it most. But our impact goes far beyond material goods. Operation School Bell helps children feel confident, fit in with their peers, and have the tools they need to thrive academically. New clothes, a warm coat, or a book of their own —

these simple items foster self-esteem and give students the foundation for a brighter future. For some children, this will be the first time they have had a new pair of shoes, a warm coat, or a book of their very own. Now, they truly feel like they fit in with the other kids.

We welcome runners, walkers, & joggers from Redmond, Bothell, Kirkland, Bellevue, Woodinville, Kenmore and all other communities!

    All participants will receive complimentary:

    • Event T-shirt (only guaranteed if registered by April 30)

    • Finisher's Medal

    • Finish Line drinks and snacks

Packet Pickup - 6/5 from 1-3 pm at Flatstick Pub 7530 164th Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052

** Plan to drop by Flatstick Pub 7530 164th Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052 after the race for their food, fun & games!

==> Should you not be able to join us in person or virtually for the Race, you can still order a souvenir T-shirt by 5/01/2026 - select STORE option above.

If you are unable to make our Race after SignUp, we're sorry to miss you but we gratefully appreciate the tax-deductible donation of your registration fee to support Operation School Bell for the 2026-2027 school year!

    About the Run:

Camp Agape Northwest is proud to present our annual 5K run/walk around Magnuson Park in Seattle, WA. The Run For Agape 5K is the perfect event for runners (and walkers) of all ages and abilities. Run for Agape benefits Camp Agape Northwest - a camp for kids with cancer and their families. Camp Agape Northwest creates a place for kids with cancer to feel joy, siblings a chance to feel special and parents a time to be together. We believe that when a child has cancer, the entire family is affected and in need of care and healing. We do this through creating a community of Agape - the purest form of love. Last year Run for Agape was able to raise over $46,000 for Camp Agape Northwest. All money raised through Run For Agape will go straight back to Camp Agape Northwest, allowing us to continue to provide a place of respite at no charge to families attending. Camp Agape Northwest welcomes all families who have or are receiving treatment in Washington State.

The community of Agape shines through from all of our dedicated volunteers that return each year to spend the week with us. Serving 250+ families over 25+ years, we are excited to grow our community of Agape and to welcome new volunteers and families to Camp each and every year.

    Event Details:

Run For Agape 5K starts and concludes at Magnuson Park in Seattle, WA. Starting and concluding right next to Lake Washington, this run boasts a fairly flat course, perfect for families and individuals alike. We are now offering a family friendly option that is 2k.
