The 9th Annual McKinney Shamrock Run 5K Presented by HOTWORX is back on Saturday, March 14th, 2026!
🍀Join us at Towne Lake Park as we kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a sea of GREEN and a morning full of FUN! Dash to the finish line to claim your lucky finisher’s medal and enjoy a complimentary ice-cold green beer from Tupps Brewery! Festivities begin at 8:00 AM, and the race kicks off at 9:00 AM!
🌈 Registration Details Your registration includes entry into our chip-timed racecourse, the official Shamrock Run 5K t-shirt, a custom race bib, and our signature finishers' medal! A portion of event proceeds proudly supports The Warrior’s Keep.
🏃♀️ Get Ready to Compete! CASH prizes will be awarded to the Top Overall Male and Female racers during our awards ceremony, presented by Prestige Community Credit Union. The Awards Ceremony begins at 9:45 AM!
Prizes: • 1st Place – $100 • 2nd Place – $50 • 3rd Place – $25 • Stroller Strider 1st Place – $25
PLUS awards for the top male and female in each age group:14 & under, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60+.
✨ Festival Fun All Morning Long Enjoy a lively, family-friendly celebration featuring local vendors, delicious food, GREEN TUPPS Beer (21+), a Shamrock-themed photo booth, Irish music, and Irish dancers bringing the St. Patrick’s Day spirit to life! This is one of McKinney’s happiest, most spirited community events and is perfect for all ages!
