• The kid's dash is a fun, untimed dash for our kiddos ages 10 and under. Registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specifically crafted medal for our kids' dash event! (If your child wants to run the kid's dash, and doesn't want the SWAG, they are welcome to run with us on race day for free!)

A Nature Run

The Maple Grove Half Marathon, 10K & 5K is a community event held annually in mid-May in the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. The Maple Grove Half Marathon,10K & 5K events utilize the city and park trails and some road segments around Rice Lake and through Elm Creek Park. Each event begins and ends at the Maple Grove High School stadium.

The event was first held in 2008. The certified routes were last modified in 2023.

The event is presented by the Maple Grove Lions.

Tommy's Olympic Speed Walk is an annual joyful event hosted by the BeLikeTommy Project. Our mission as an organization is simple, we exist to bring joy to the lives of others, and this event does exactly that! To ensure all can participate, registration is FREE to all who want to join, and each registrant will receive a FREE shirt when you check in. The walk portion of the event is not about distance or speed, but a short 1.1 mile jaunt open to all ages and abilities to show off your speed walking form!

The Going Bananas Run is the first-of-its-kind fun run where your speed can raise money for charity. Each racer receives their very own banana suit to run in as you make your way through an exciting Twin Cities course. You’d better split though, because after 2 minutes we release “The Gorilla.” “The Gorilla” is our inside man; boy, does he love chasing bananas. Those who beat the gorilla to the finish receive a special prize, and money will be donated to Gold Together for Childhood Cancer. Do you have what it takes to beat “The Gorilla”?
