Tiago Lopes saw a gap in Covilhã's running landscape and decided to fill it. In October 2025, he founded Running Club by Shadow Program with a simple mandate: create a space where runners of all levels could gather, move together, and build genuine connection. The crew organizes regular 5-kilometer runs structured by pace groups, removing the pressure of competition and replacing it with collective momentum.
