EstrelAçor Ultra Endurance

Founded in October 2025 by personal trainer Tiago Lopes, the Running Club by Shadow Program has grown into a welcoming community of around 100 runners in Covilhã, Portugal. Tiago’s vision was to create an inclusive space that blends fitness and friendship, offering well-paced runs suitable for all levels—from easy groups running above 6:00 minutes per kilometer to moderate groups between 5:00 and 6:00. Nestled in the foothills of Serra da Estrela, Covilhã offers a unique backdrop of historic streets and natural trails, which the club’s short, social runs often explore, including scenic spots like Jardim do Lago and paths along the Zêzere River. Emphasizing support over competition, the club fosters genuine connections among diverse members who share a love of movement and community. As one of Covilhã’s pioneering social running groups, it reflects the city’s vibrant spirit and growing enthusiasm for social running culture in Portugal’s smaller cities.
