The Nine Four is a remarkable and deeply meaningful running club based in Cape Town, South Africa. Founded in 2013 by Paul, the crew's name is a powerful tribute to 1994, the year South Africa became a democratic state. Their core mission is to embody the spirit of the new nation by creating a diverse and inclusive community that brings together people from all backgrounds, including those who were previously considered "illegal" in the old South Africa. They are a tight-knit family of "unlikely individuals" who have come together to be better, using running as the golden thread that ties them together.

Erin and Mike started Community Track Club in January 2023 to make track running accessible to everyone, not just the fastest. Welcoming both locals and visitors, the crew fosters genuine community and personal growth through structured training and shared experiences. As part of Cape Town’s vibrant running culture, Mindset Movement stands out for its focus on endurance, kindness, and the transformative power of running together.

With coaching staff tailoring sessions to individual needs, MustLoveHills balances performance with camaraderie and social impact, engaging in community initiatives year-round. Training takes place against Cape Town’s stunning natural backdrop, from Foresters Arms hills to scenic trails by the Atlantic, blending fitness with the city’s vibrant running culture. Open to runners of all levels, the crew welcomes newcomers to join free sessions and find their stride within a group that values determination, friendship, and a shared journey through the city’s unique terrain.

They are an incredibly adaptable group, welcoming runners of all distances, from 5K to 100K, on both road and trail.
