Also known as "the ride for pie" this is one of the region's favorite cycling events known for its unique character and atmosphere.

Routes of 16, 25, 50, 62, and 100 miles will leave from Legislative Mall, 410 Legislative Ave., Dover, DE, and wind through central Delaware's peaceful (and flat!) Amish countryside. Featuring unique scenery, friendly volunteers, pie and fun for all. This ride is perfect for your first century!

This is not a timed event or race.

Motor vehicles are not restricted on the routes of the Amish Country Bike Tour. Follow all rules of the road. Never cross a yellow line, not even to pass.

To promote safety and relieve congestion, a staggered police escorted start based on distance is scheduled out of Dover:

    7:00 am 100-mile riders

    7:30 am 62-mile riders

    8:00 am 50-mile riders

    8:30 am 25-mile riders

    9:00 am 16-mile riders

Leaving prior to your designated starting time is not recommended. Staggered start times are designed to reduce road congestion and ensure that rest stops are open at appropriate times. All participants must have completed their ride by 5 pm.

    Returning for 2026!

    TraqCentral App

For Riders to Communicate with SAG

For our support team to help riders

For Riders friends and family who want to track your progress

We were able to respond more quickly to those who used the tool in 2025 and pinpoint the rider who used it.( Hint--don't use it and ride off) Considered a huge success adding to safety, responsiveness and communication.

    [traqcentral2026.png]

You can download anytime or make sure your cellphone number is accurate on your registration and you'll receive a text message from TraQCentral a day or two before the event with your unique invitation. You will receive a link with that invitation to also share with your friends or loved one.

In case of severe weather or restrictions mandated by local, state or federal government, Bike Delaware volunteers reserve the right to cancel/alter/modify the tour for safety and other concerns. In any event, we do not refund tour entry or transfer registrations to the following year. All unused rides are considered donations to Bike Delaware, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. In the unlikely case a tour is canceled, you may claim your registration fee as a tax-deductible donation.

Unfortunately, all expenses have already been incurred prior to the actual event. Should we be forced to cancel or offer deferrals, the financial impact of the event would not be any different than if the event was held in its entirety. Thus, refunding or deferring any entry fees would devastate the financial future of the Amish Country Bike Tour and Bike Delaware.

The Amish Country Bike Tour is managed by Bike Delaware volunteers. Bike Delaware is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that advocates for safe, convenient and fun cycling and walking for everyone. All funds raised from the Amish Country Bike Tour support Bike Delaware's mission and vision, as well as our community supporting organizations.
