Rush Runners was born on the finish line of Jakarta's first marathon in October 2013, when ten friends crossed hand in hand and decided to keep running together. What started as that single shared moment has grown into a warm, open pack of around 200 solemates who call themselves always junior runners, keeping the energy fresh and welcoming for everyone. Founded on the philosophy of RUn and SHare, Rush Runners spreads the joy of running and healthy living across Jakarta, especially among younger generations. The crew gathers three times a week at Nike Senayan City and Plaza Senayan for Tuesday and Thursday evening runs plus Sunday morning sessions, mixing social easy miles with long runs and speed work during race season.

MAEM Running Club was born in Jakarta in 2015 around a simple truth: running is better when food comes after. Founded on the philosophy of Run, Eat, Joy, the crew built a community on exactly that idea, believing running should feel good, taste good, and bring people together without conditions. Around 30 runners, from beginners to veterans, gather twice a week across Jakarta for their signature Re-Fuel runs. The vibe is warm, open, and always hungry for the next meal together. Every Thursday at Gelora Bung Karno at 19:00 and every Sunday at The Energy Building at 06:30, MAEM Running Club proves that the best runs end with shared food and genuine connection.

Headlamps flicker to life at 19:30 outside Vilo Lakeside Citra 8 every Friday as AMTRN gathers in Jakarta's humid evening air. Founded by Ryandy in May 2025, this crew of twenty-six runners operates on a singular conviction: the hardest part of running isn't the final kilometer, it's lacing up your shoes and stepping out the door. In a city where everything feels competitive, AMTRN created space where pace doesn't define worth. Their motto, "Small Steps But Stay Consistent, For Fat Destroyer," captures the philosophy perfectly. Every transformation begins with consistency over intensity. Every runner started as a beginner. Every personal victory matters, regardless of the stopwatch. Friday nights at Vilo Lakeside and Sunday mornings at rumahkopilaj draw professionals unwinding after boardroom battles and students discovering their stride, united by a commitment to presence over performance. Coffee and conversation follow every run, where genuine connection trumps split talk.
