Steps for Vets 5K – Run, Walk, Roll is U.S.VETS’ annual peer-to-peer fundraising event in support of our mission to prevent and end veteran homelessness in the United States! We invite you, your colleagues, family, and friends to join us in taking steps for homeless veterans.

Participate as an individual or team captain! Every dollar you raise or donate will support our programs and services for veterans and their families. Every step you take will help veterans regain and maintain independence.

Through grantmaking and programming, CDF builds the capacity of the cooperative business community to solve societal challenges, reinforce democratic decision-making, and improve economic opportunities for all. As a result, more people in our nation can address their needs, pursue their aspirations, build shared wealth, and thrive in community.

    The Co-op 5k is a fun and family-friendly race that supports CDF’s cooperative development and education work while honoring cooperative hero, Chuck Snyder, whose Do Well to Do Good mantra continues to inspire. The Co-op 5k is one of the ways CDF celebrates, promotes, and strengthens the cooperative identity. Every year, people come together with the spirit of Cooperative Principles 6 and 7 - Cooperation Among Cooperatives and Concern for Community – to help CDF raise money for continued co-op capacity building across the country.

    Register by March 13 to be guaranteed a t-shirt in your desired size. Participants that register after March 13 may receive a large t-shirt.

The second walk will be held along the Macomb Orchard Trail in Richmond Michigan on May 2nd. The third and final walk will be in Holland Michigan starting at the beautiful Holland State Park Beach. We are so honored to partner with our family, friends, and neighbors to stand together in this fight that many of our veterans battle alone. Join us in 1 or all 3 events and help us save lives.

    The DC walk will start at the Lincoln Memorial and follow the multi purpose trails to the Nation's Capital and back. Each lap is a 5 mile trek.
