Luck Stone’s Run the Rock isn’t your average trail race – it's an adrenaline-pumping, one-of-a-kind journey through an active rock quarry that few ever get to experience! Since opening our gates to the racing community in 2023, we've welcomed over 1,000 runners to our Rockville, Greene, and Mount Airy sites – and we're gearing up to do it all over again in Ashburn, VA!

Lace up and get ready to make an impact at this year’s Run The Greenway, supporting Loudoun’s incredible non-profits! Join us on Sunday, May 3, 2026, for the 6th annual 5K, 10K, and Kids Fun Run on the Dulles Greenway, the only day you can hit the road without the traffic.

Register early to lock in the best price and give yourself extra time to raise funds for the local causes that make our community shine!

Packet Pickup:

You can pick up your packet in person on the following dates and locations:

Friday, May 1 at =PR= Reston from 3:00-7:00 pm (11911 Democracy Dr. Reston, VA 20190

Saturday, May 2 at Loudoun Station from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm (43777 Central Stations Dr. Ashburn, VA 20147)

Sunday, May 3 on race morning starting at 6:30 am near the starting line.

It is recommended to pick up early to avoid the lines on race day.

The 2026 Historic Waterford Trail Run/Walk is a perfect outdoor adventure located in beautiful Western Loudoun County, just under an hour from DC. Bring your family and friends to experience a 5K, 10K and Fun Run through scenic trails, paved and gravel roads, vineyards, and the historic streets of Waterford, Virginia. Spend some time enjoying the beauty of an early 19th Century American village with sweeping vistas of rural landscapes and farms, historic buildings and the rolling Blue Ridge Mountains. The trails are rustic so you many encounter a little mud, but that is half the fun!

Proceeds from the race will benefit the Waterford Foundation!

Event Information:

10K Trail Run begins at 8:30 am. The course is on trails, fields, unpaved roads, and paved roads. You will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the race.

5K Trail Run/Walk begins at 8:40 am. The course is on trails, fields, unpaved, and paved roads.

Kids' Fun Run begins at 10:00 am. The Kids' Fun Run is approximately 1 mile. Each child who finishes will get a fun run medal. Parents are welcome to run with their children without registering separately.

Awards for the 5K and 10K will start approximately 9:30 am. The top 3 overall male and female finishers will receive an award. The top 3 male and female 11&Under finishers will also receive an award.

SWAG: All 5K and 10K participates will receive a commemorative race t-shirt and finisher medal. Please register by April 15 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.

Packet pick up will be at =PR= Run and Walk Leesburg (1601 Village Market Blvd. SE, Unit 120, Leesburg, VA 20175) on Thursday, May 7 from 5:00-7:00 pm, then at The Waterford Mill (40105 Main St. Waterford, VA 20197) on Friday, May 8 from 4:00-6:00 pm, then again on race day, May 9 starting at 7:30 am.

Join us Memorial Day, Monday May 26th, for the friendliest family 1.5 mile run ever! Race begins 8am at Hamilton Elementary and course navigates through the Orchard Circle neighborhood, then finishes back where you started at Hamilton!

Hamilton Mighty Miler is 1 Event with 3 Races. In addition to the 1.5 mile Run/Walk you can also complete our Mini or Mighty Murph!

We encourage you to arrive no later than 7:30am - grab some fun goodies & join us for a pre-race stretch. We will begin promptly at 8am! After the race, we will have light fare including donations from Hamilton Mercantile & BKD bagels, games, music, dancing & then head to town for the Hamilton Day Parade:)
