Community Track Club was born in January 2023 when Erin and Mike saw that track running in Cape Town needed to be for everyone. No elitism, no barriers, just fast and not-so-fast runners sharing a lane. Built on the belief that pace groups, not podiums, make a running community thrive, Community Track Club has grown to around 200 runners of all abilities. Guest coaches and warm encouragement create sessions where every runner feels valued. Every six weeks, Green Point Athletic Stadium hosts an inclusive track meet with pace groups set by 5k time, ensuring every runner, fast or slow, gets a real race experience.

Cool Runnings Recreational Club started in January 2015 when Heinrich and two friends decided Cape Town needed a different kind of running community. Ten people with a team sports background wanted to bring that collaborative culture to running. Today, around fifty members strong, Cool Runnings serves runners across the full spectrum: 5km runners to 100km ultra runners, road and trail, fast and easy. Everyone belongs. The crew's philosophy is simple but uncompromising: recreational is their statement of intent. Cool Runnings Recreational Club exists to serve the runner, not the result, balancing social, physical, and mental wellbeing all at once. Members call it family, and they mean it.
