Thesis Run Cru (TRC) is a powerful and influential running movement based in the iconic township of Soweto, South Africa. Officially launched in 2014 by Wandile Zondo, the crew was born from the well-known Thesis Lifestyle brand with a core mission: to foster an urban running culture and get the youth of Soweto active in a fun and supportive way. They are a true community hub, hosting large weekly runs from the Eyethu Lifestyle Centre and organizing major annual events like the June 16 run that are deeply connected to the history of their home.
