Spartan Sundays Run Club is an inspiring and resilient running community that has been a staple in Brooklyn, New York, since 2011. The group has a unique origin, having started as a team to train for obstacle course races (OCR) before expanding into road running. Founded by Ismael and Sean, their philosophy is reflected in their powerful motto: "Conquer your Obstacles - Above it, Around it, Through it. But keep finding a way." Their signature event is a free, two-hour group workout every Sunday, designed to help people get in shape for both mud and road races, always with a "splash of burpees.

Their runs weave through iconic city landmarks and diverse neighborhoods, reflecting the energy and rhythm of NYC itself. Operating from their hub at Custom Performance, Streets 101 creates a welcoming space for runners of all backgrounds to connect, motivate one another, and push their limits together. Regular group runs encourage consistency and personal growth, whether chasing new records or embracing the simple joy of running in a vibrant city. By engaging in local races and events, Streets 101 plays an active role in New York’s rich running culture, blending personal transformation with a shared urban experience.

WEPA is an inspiring and motivating running movement that was founded in New York City in the summer of 2016. Their name is a powerful double entendre: it is an acronym for their core values—Work-Excel-Persevere-Achieve—and "¡Wepa!" is a popular Hispanic cultural exclamation of joy and excitement. The crew was created to inspire those intimidated by running and to help people run their very first mile. They have since cultivated a supportive "family atmosphere" where members hold each other accountable and celebrate every milestone along the way.
