Four friends launched BirdiesRunClub in March 2025 at Celebration Plaza Amphitheater, right at the heart of Indianapolis's Canal Walk. Their vision was simple but clear: blend fitness with genuine friendship in a space where pace matters less than presence. Every Friday evening, about 25 runners show up to move together along the scenic canal routes, with multiple pace groups ensuring no one runs alone. The crew welcomes all backgrounds and abilities, treating each gathering as an opportunity to share stories, laughter, and the kind of connection that happens when people move through a city together.
