Organizations in Lyon

In January 2021, eighteen runners came together in Lyon with a simple conviction: meaningful training happens in the company of people who push as hard as you do. ALLEZ ALLEZ Running Club, now based near La Madone, was born from that shared hunger for challenge and camaraderie. Founders believed that individual commitment fuels collective progress, so they built a members-only club where disciplined effort meets genuine friendship. The club organizes runs from 5K to half marathon length across varied terrain, from trails along the Rhône River to parks like Parc de la Tête d'Or. Paces range from moderate (5-6 min/km) to tempo (4-5 min/km) to fast intervals (under 4 min/km), allowing room for growth without compromising the crew's performance standard. Members also compete in private races and Lyon's major events, the Urban Trail, Semi-Marathon, and Marathon, applying their training in real conditions. What holds ALLEZ ALLEZ together is not just the running but the deliberate choice to grow stronger together.
