Almuerzo Running Club was born from the moment runners realized the real celebration happens after the finish line. What began as an accidental gathering in July 2024 has become a Madrid and Santander-based crew of 125 runners united by Víctor's simple philosophy: running is the appetizer, the lunch is the main event. They organize monthly meetups in both cities, but their heart belongs to El Burgo de Osma, a small Soria town where they host races like the Carrera de las Peñas every Tuesday at 20:00. Those post-race tables stretch for hours, shared pintxos, endless drinks, stories embellished longer than the kilometers covered. The 10-euro entry fee isn't membership; it's a commitment to showing up, celebrating every kind of runner, and discovering that the most meaningful miles are the ones shared over never-ending lunches.
