Westpace Running emerged in Recklinghausen in 2015 with one mission: connect people through running and exploring the Ruhr Area together. Founded on the belief that every run makes the crew stronger, Westpace Running has grown into a diverse community that runs as a pack and celebrates as a pack. With no pace requirement or pressure, the crew welcomes marathon veterans and first-timers alike. Members gather Tuesday evenings at Stadion Hohenhorst and Sunday mornings at Halde Hoheward, using these two signature meetups as a base to explore the entire Ruhr Area on foot. Westpace Running's philosophy is straightforward: keep moving, collect miles, and get everyone to the finish line together.
