Endurance sports organizations in Zurich

It was Fall 2015 when Joel and Kevin spent a wild night in a club in St Gallen, Switzerland with too many beers. That night dreams and visions became decisions they never regretted. Since the idea of a traditional running club was alien to them, they decided to start their own thing, that should be a fusion of competition and fun.

Community Run Social

Founded in July 2023, the 6:ZH Club has quickly become a vibrant part of Zurich’s running scene, bringing together around 140 runners each morning for inclusive 6-kilometer social runs at a steady pace. Created by a passionate group eager to connect through movement, the club welcomes runners of all ages and abilities, fostering a supportive atmosphere where conversation and shared rituals, like post-run coffee at Café Jung, are just as important as the run itself. Their varied routes showcase Zurich’s blend of urban charm and natural beauty, from iconic landmarks to hidden neighborhoods, encouraging members to explore the city together. Beyond weekly runs, unique events such as Run & Ice-Bath and Run & Rave deepen community bonds and celebrate local culture. Open to all without membership fees, the 6:ZH Club embodies a grounded, friendly spirit that invites anyone seeking connection and discovery through running to join their growing Zurich family.
