Bernardo started running the borders of Belo Horizonte alone in 2016, seeking something beyond the familiar. What he discovered in those solitary miles sparked a movement. Today, Calma has grown from those solo journeys into a family of over 100 runners who gather every Tuesday and Thursday to unveil the city they want to live in. For Calma, running is an act of discovery, a weekly reminder that Belo Horizonte belongs to those who move through it with intention. The community extends far beyond the pavement, weaving talks, meditation, art and music into the same heartbeat as the run itself.
