The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen.
TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. One in five struggle with literacy! Join us on September 26th at Freestone Park in Gilbert for a family-friendly fun run dedicated to raising awareness, building community, and championing literacy for all!
Event Highlights
Inclusive and Fun: This 5K welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels. Bring your strollers and furry friends for a morning of connection and solidarity.
Building Community: More than just a run, it's a chance for dyslexic learners, advocates, and families to connect, share experiences, and spread much-needed dyslexia awareness.
Empowering Educators: Your participation helps provide valuable dyslexia and literacy training opportunities for teachers, ensuring every student has the chance to thrive.
Special Opportunity
Nominate a Teacher: Form a team of 30 and nominate a teacher for a $300 dyslexia training reimbursement scholarship. This scholarship helps equip educators with the skills to identify and support struggling readers and improve literacy outcomes. Your nomination has the power to profoundly impact students of all reading abilities in classrooms for years to come!

To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form! Please make check payable to StartLine Racing.
Can't make it to this year's event but still want to participate? We are excited to announce our 1in5K Dyslexia Dash Virtual Race. A virtual race is a race that can be ran at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race. You can run your race at your pace wherever you like. All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event dri-fit tech t-shirt. All you have to do is register above! Please note - your virtual packet will be mailed out the week following the event.
Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only. If you reside outside of the US and wish to participate please contact StartLine Racing at [email protected]

Custom Event Finisher's Medal for all participants
Custom Event Dri-Fit Tech T-Shirt for all participants.

- Cost of registration on race day will be $40 for the 5K and $20 for the Kids Dash.
We welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons.
No roller blades/skates, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses.
Leashed pet and walker friendly
This event will take place rain or shine. There are no refunds for due to weather.

Join us for the Kyrene RISE 5K,
our inaugural community run/walk supporting
Kyrene students and programs.
This family-friendly event brings together students, families, staff, and neighbors for a fun and energizing morning centered on health, wellness, school spirit, and community connection.
It is a chance to come together, move together, and RISE together for Kyrene in a way that is active, positive, and memorable.
This event will feature a 5K and 1M distances and will take place at Kiwanis Park - North Entrance.
