1000 Riders. Two Bridges. One Mission.

The 17th Annual Bike the Bridges | Bands & Brews returns in support of Special Olympics Northern California. This year, we’re kicking it up a gear and aiming for 1,000 riders to join our iconic community fundraiser ride, capped by the rocking Bands & Brews afterparty at Waterfront Park in Martinez.

Come be a part of an epic day of biking, bridges, bravery and brews. With four different routes ranging from 25 miles to 100K, there’s a Bike the Bridges ride for you.

Ride. Rock. Raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics NorCal. Don’t miss your opportunity to cross bridges — and build some, too.

    THE RIDE

This scenic ride encompasses the sweeping view of the Carquinez and Benicia Bridges. Choose from the 25 mile, 50K, 50 mile, or 100K (62 mi).

    50K ride - $100

    50 mi - $115

    100K (62 mi) - $120

Prices increase on July 1, 2026

Support personnel and refueling still be available along the way as well as a SAG vehicle driving the routes to assist, support, and encourage cyclists.

    PEDAL THE EXTRA MILE

Riders are encouraged to raise additional funds for Special Olympics by emailing family, friends and co-workers asking for online donations to support their fundraising efforts. In addition to the commemorative t-shirt, lunch, pint glass and 2 beer tickets, additional incentives can be earned at $300 (long-sleeve dryfit t-shirt) and $400 (Bike the Bridges bike jersey).

A Splash and Dash is a fun and fast-growing sport that combines running and swimming, and focused on focused on fun and participation over competition. OTC wants to introduce kids and families to how great the multisport life is through this USAT sanctioned event!

    We celebrate participation!

For our regular Super Sprints, timing will be unofficial, and everyone wins for the regular Super Sprints. Kids of any age can choose Super Sprint x1 or Super Sprint x2.

And back from 2025, kids can choose to do the Super Sprint x2 competitive event - which will count towards the USAT Northern California Youth Series!

We will have volunteers around supporting safety and fun, making sure kid take breaks mid-swim if need -- and that they catch their breath before heading on towards the run course. Every competitor will be celebrated as they cross the finish line and will go home with an NEW FOR 2026 official USAT Splash and Dash medal, or a custom competitive wave medal.

Come on out and join the fun!
