The Just Tri It Youth triathlon is a fun and challenging event for kids ages 5 – 16. Young athletes will swim, bike and run in this 3-event race that not only promotes fitness but improves self-confidence as participants cross the finish line on their own. A great introduction to the sport, the race will be completely contained within the boundaries of the City Park in Manhattan, Kansas.

The annual Speedy PD 5K/10K and Memorial Run/Walk benefits Meadowlark Parkinson's Program. The program provides services in the Flint Hills region to improve the quality of life for all those affected by Parkinson’s disease including persons with PD, caregivers, therapists, and nurses. Generous donations help ensure Meadowlark Parkinson's Program is able to continue and expand opportunities for education, outreach, scholarships for medical purposes, medical care, and create a future Parkinson's resource center for the Kansas region.

The Slug "Run" is a 0.5K event (less than 1,000 steps) that anyone can do. There are food and drink stops along the way; as well as music, a station to make bubbles and face painting. Lots of fun for the whole family while benefitting the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. What a fun way to spend part of your morning!!
