This popular rural tradition will once again be held at the Alert Covenant Church, 15820 Green Randolph Road in Leonardville, Kansas--Rain or Shine! (It's Kansas--be prepared for both!) Come for the friendly competition and fellowship, stay for the post-race breakfast provided by the Alert Ladies!
All Proceeds from this event will help offset the cost of Alert Youth Camper Registrations at Covenant Cedars Bible Camp this summer!
This year's event includes 10K, 5K and 1 Mile races. (Distances will be verified by our Alert Trail Life Troop!) The courses for 10K and 5K include both paved and gravel segments. The one mile course is an out and back on an all paved road. Water stations will be available on all 3 courses. Each participant will receive a T-shirt, and awards will also be given for top finishers as well!
Start time is 7:30 a.m. for the 10K and 5K, and approximately 9:30 a.m. for the 1 mile.
Sign up early to make race day less hectic! Online Registration costs $20 through Noon on June 17, then $30 in-person on race morning. Avoid race-day lines...sign up today! (We will do our best, but we cannot guarantee a T-shirt for all race day registrations.)
Race Day Packet pickup and Day of Registrations will begin at 6:30 am on race day.
Due to the size and location of our venue, we do not allow 4-legged friends at the event. (Thank you for understanding!)

The annual Speedy PD 5K/10K and Memorial Run/Walk benefits Meadowlark Parkinson's Program. The program provides services in the Flint Hills region to improve the quality of life for all those affected by Parkinson’s disease including persons with PD, caregivers, therapists, and nurses. Generous donations help ensure Meadowlark Parkinson's Program is able to continue and expand opportunities for education, outreach, scholarships for medical purposes, medical care, and create a future Parkinson's resource center for the Kansas region.
