    The Pagoda Pacers Athletic Club is happy to invite you to the Rescheduled 39th annual Kris Kringle 5 Mile Run!

    Course: The course features a mix of road and easy trail sections through Blue Marsh and the Union Canal Trail. We'll be running clockwise this year. Strollers and walkers are welcome. Dogs are not permitted at this event.

    Registration Fees: ALL registration fees are RACE ONLY

    • $25 per runner through April 6, 2026

    • Day-of registration: $30

    • ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON April 6 at 11:59PM EST

    Hoodies:

    • We will NOT be ordering more hoodies at this time.

    • Hoodies are not included with the race registration cost. If you previously ordered a hoodie for the original race, you or a friend can pick up the hoodie at the 4H center the day of the race before 10 am.

    • IF there are any additional hoodies that have not been claimed after the award ceremony, they will be for sale for $25 each while supplies last.

    Race Day Info:

    • Registration: 8:30 AM | Race Start: 10:00 AM

    • Same-day registration will be available at $30 per runner (no hoodie option)

    • Leave your doggy pals at home, please. No dogs permitted at this event.

    Awards:

    • Overall: Top 2 male and female (not eligible for age group awards)

    • Age Groups: Top 3 male and female in 5-year brackets from U14 to 80, plus a 80+ category

    Weather: In case of inclement weather on race day, updates will be sent to the email address used for registration.

    The Yuengling Light Lager Jogger 5k started in 2013 and is the only race to start and finish at America's oldest brewery! D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., a family-run company since 1829 is based in Pottsville, PA and recently celebrated 185 years of continuous operation.

    The 14th annual Yuengling Light Lager Jogger 5k starts and finishes at America's oldest brewery in Pottsville, PA. All participants will receive a Yuengling Light Lager Jogger branded pint glass, an official race t-shirt, two free Yuengling Light Lagers (21+), free brewery tours (prior to race day), and admission to the post-race party.

    Be sure to stick around after the race for live music, great food, 50+ local vendors, plus so much more!

This year's course will vary from years past and will end in our beautiful community park.

This will be an all thrills no frills run on the historic and scenic cemetery circa 1861 built on the side of a mountain. This cemetery is one of only 2 Victorian Garden cemeteries in Schuylkill County. The theme this year will be Red, White and Blue in honor of 250 years of America! Feel free to wear your best patriotic outfit to celebrate. There will be prizes for the top three runners and the best patriotic outfit.     The Coal Cracker 10k is an iconic running event nestled in the heart of the Coal Region. Beginning in the center of Shenandoah (PA), runners take off through downtown Shenandoah before being met with the first of many challenging hills. The course then takes the runners through the twists, turns, and gently rolling hills of the Coal Region before taking a left turn up the infamous St. Nick's breaker. Runners will test their grit and endurance as they face this steep, seemingly endless hill. Once at the top, runners will have a 1 mile cruise downhill back into town where the finish line waits atop a short but nasty incline! The Coal Cracker 10k is a challenging race that will leave runners feeling breathless and accomplished. All participants are invited to attend the awards ceremony complete with world famous Mrs. T's Pierogies and cold Yuengling beer.
