    Length of Course is one (1) mile. Read below for a new Club Competition we are including with this years race!

    Golden Mile will start at 8:00 a.m. We will start in waves, 3 minutes apart as noted below:

    Waves

    Under 20 minutes

    20-24 minutes

    25-29 minutes

    30-34 minutes

    35 minutes and above

    Cash prizes for the top three overall individual finishers in the male and female divisions:

    We’re launching our first-ever Doc Lucky’s Golden Mile Club Competition, and we want YOUR club in the race! (The individual registration fee will cover both the Individual and Club Competition - that means there's no reason not to participate as a club!)

    TEAM REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum 5 team members

    • At least 2 women required on each team

    • Add your team’s name during registration

    HOW WINNERS ARE DETERMINED

    We will sum the times of all 5 team members.

    Length of Course and start times:

    Golden Mile- 8:00 a.m. Start by waves, 3 minutes apart:

    • Under 20 minutes

    • 20-24 minutes

    • 25-29 minutes

    • 30-34 minutes

    • 35 minutes and above

    Cash prizes for the top three overall finishers in the male and female divisions:

    • First Place $1000.00

    • Second Place $500

    • Third Place $250

    Age group awards will be awarded to the top three athletes in each age group for each event.

    10-u, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99

    There is also a Special Olympics Division with awards to the top three men and women (No age groups in Special Olympics)

    Open Water Results: This will be available after the event on-site and will be emailed to all participants after the event has been completed.

    Chip and cap pick up: Saturday 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.

    ALL ATHLETES will pick up their cap and chip on-site the morning of the race.

    Body Marking: 6:00-7:30 am

    ALL ATHLETES must have their race number marked on both arms. A station will be available for the markings.

    Technical meeting: A technical meeting for all participants is required and will take place by the dock at 7:35 am EDT. Course and safety information will be reviewed at that time.

    Warm-ups: The course will be open for warm-ups from 6:30-7:45 am EDT

    Marshaling Area: All athletes must be in the marshaling area 1/2 hour before their allowed wave. A map showing the course will be clearly visible in this area for all the participants.

    Safety: Appropriate safety craft will be provided during the competition.

    Changing Area: Competitors must leave their equipment in this area. The Organizing Committee will provide a bright-colored cap for each swimmer. Each swimmer is required to wear this cap. Thermal caps may NOT be worn.

    Support Facilities: Limited showers and changing facilities will be provided.

    Hospitality: Breakfast and water will be available.

    Virtual Race Option: You may choose to do the Golden Mile distance in the virtual swim!

    The virtual event does not include a finisher medal.

    Join us for the 2nd Annual Lake Nona Triathlon! This year there are two Lake Nona Tri Events, the first one taking place on July 25-26, 2026, and the second event taking place on August 22-23, 2026.

    This Sprint Triathlon is a thrilling point-to-point race, starting at the Lake Nona Adventure Park, where the action begins with a lake swim. The bike route will take participants through the heart of Lake Nona, offering breathtaking views and a blend of urban and natural scenery, as they descend on their next transition area at Boxi Park. The atmosphere at Boxi Park will be electric, with friends, family, and fans eagerly awaiting the athletes' arrival. Here, participants transition from biking to the final challenge the 5K run.

    Post-race festivities at Boxi Park include free beer for all participants and access to the Park's food containers. The entertainment lineup ensures a festive atmosphere, with music, games, and activities for all ages, making it a perfect day out for families and friends!

    Participant benefits include a custom shirt and a finisher's medal. Awards will be given to the top three Overall Males & Females, Male & Female Masters, and top three males & females in 5-year increments.

    Youth "Splash & Dash"

    Open to youth ages 6-14 years old. The Splash & Dash will be on Saturday, July 25, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Nona Adventure Park. The Splash & Dash race will begin at the Aqua Park inflatable obstacle course. Participants will traverse the state-of-the-art inflatable obstacle course that features over 1000 feet of challenging and exciting obstacles! Once they exit the inflatable course, participants will head out for their run.

    Run distance varies by age:

    Ages 6-10 will run .5 mile

    Ages 11-14 will run 1 mile

    Participant benefits include a shirt and a finisher medal. Awards will be given to the top three males & females in 1-year age group increments.

    Help save the manatee! Join participants from around the world helping manatees by participating in the 23rd Annual Save the Manatee 5K! The in-person Save the Manatee 5K will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 8 a.m. ET at Blue Spring State Park in Orange City, FL. November 15 is the official kick-off day of Manatee Season in Florida, so what better way to welcome the manatees back to Blue Spring! The race will start and finish at Blue Spring State Park, winter home of the manatee, and will go along the scenic, flat Spring-to-Spring Trail adjacent to the park. Race registration includes park admission fee. Runners and walkers of all paces and ages are welcome, and there will be awards for the top 3 male and female finishers. This is a family- and dog-friendly event. Proceeds go to Save the Manatee Club. After the race you may even see some manatees in the spring run.

    You can also participate virtually from anywhere in the world on the date and time you choose. You pick your activity and distance; run, walk, bike, swim, kayak, scuba, or hike your favorite course at your convenience. Registration includes: Manatee Unisex Cotton/Polyester Blend T-shirt, an amazing Manatee Finisher Medal, and Race Bib.

    PACKET PICK-UP

    Early packet pick-up will take place at Front Running Sports in Lake Mary the week prior to the event.

    Packet pick-up will also be available on race day starting at 6:30 a.m. at Blue Spring State Park.

    KIDS

    12 and under could get a free stuffed manatee at the race (in-person only)

    Top 3 overall male and female will receive awards. There will also be medal tags for top 3 male and female in each age group.

    PARKING

    Parking will be inside Blue Spring State Park. Park admission is included in the registration fee.

    PROCEEDS

    Proceeds support Save the Manatee Club.

    Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib
