WE DO NOT ISSUE ANY REFUNDS AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON. If you do not
participate and would like a refund, you MUST purchase an individual travel insurance plan, which will reimburse you according to the plan coverage. Many plans are very reasonably priced. As part of your online registration you will have the option to purchase an individual travel insurance plan offered through RegShield. This plan must be purchased as part of your initial online registration - it cannot be added later. If you do not purchase the RegShield plan you can still purchase another individual travel insurance plan. Click Here or visit https://www.travelexinsurance.com/index.aspx?location=27-019927-0199&go=bp to get the details and benefits of the plan offered through Travelex Insurance, get a quote, and purchase coverage.

The Lake Lucerne Advancement Association Community Support Committee’s Third Annual 5K-ish Run/Walk will be on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
This year's charity, Crandon Area Rescue, is a non-profit squad
that serves approximately 435 square miles, including Argonne, Crandon, Hiles, Lincoln, Nashville townships, and the City of Crandon. With four ambulances and around 20 active responders, they provide essential emergency care when needed.
There is no registration fee, however a suggested donation amount of $35 requested per racer. If you would prefer to donate a different amount, you are welcome to do so.
Over the past three years, this event has raised over $10,500 in direct donations from the race! In addition, we know that community and individual contributions inspired by this event have addedmore than $5,000 in extra donations to Crandon Area Rescue. That’s a huge impact!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us this year—and to those who couldn’t attend but still donated to this great cause.
This year’s event featured over 90 racers and 18 volunteers who helped with planning and operations. We also had eight generous sponsors who contributed funds, products, and services. Their support makes this event possible every year. Our sponsors included:
Forest County Potawatomi
Schaefers IGA
Living Local Realty, LLC
Tamarack Outfitters
Water’s Edge Lodge
Whisky Nicks
Creative Embroidery
Knottlane.com

We are fortunate to have this squad providing service. Thank you for your support!

August 1st, 2026 - Join us for the second annual Loon Ride at the Mercer Bike Fest.
ICORE (Iron County Outdoor Recreation Enthusiasts) announces the inaugural Mercer Bike Fest and Loon Ride. The
event supports our fund raising efforts to expand the current Mercer bike trail from Carow Park along Hwy J to WinMan Trails ultimately completing a 26 mile loop of Mercer and Manitowish Waters as part of the Heart of Vilas County trail system. In previous years this ride was known as Lupine Junefest. The volunteers who created and supported that ride did a wonderful job of building the foundation for the trail expansion project. We are proud to take up the cause. Please note: moving forward if you choose to ride and E-bike only class 1, those without throttles, are allowed for safety reasons.
Join us in our efforts by riding a 7, 24, or 50 mile route starting and ending at Carow Park on the shores of beautiful Grand Portage Lake. When you return to Carow Park stay with us for music, food and raffles. Cool off with a swim in the lake! Registration fee includes shirt, swag bag, beverage and lunch. Kids 10 and under ride FREE* when accompanied by a paid adult and do not need to register online. Kid friendly activities at the park after the ride.
For more about the Mercer bike trails and how you can play a part in completing the loop click here. This event also kicks off the week of Loon Days with the annual Loon Day Art and Craft fair on Saturday August 5th with over 250 vendors. Loon Day has been a Mercer tradition for over 45 years!
*Free riders are not eligible for T-shirt, lunch or swag bag.
