The Basalt Half Marathon race combines the stunning beauty of the Frying Pan Valley and a fast downhill course for a great summer race experience. Come celebrate our 49th annual race and bring a
friend. This race is a benefit for the Basalt High School Cross Country team.
Event details and schedule
Race begins at 7:45am, buses depart for start line at 7:00am sharp from Basalt Middle School. Packet pick-up and race day sign up is from 6:15-6:50am.
Parking is available at Basalt Middle School, which also serves as the finish area.
Gear check is avaiable from the start line as well as the relay exchange point to the finish area.
Bathrooms will be available at Basalt Middle School, start line, and relay exchange point.
Awards for top 3 male and female overall, medals to top 3 in each age group male and female, and relay team devision winners.

Get set to kick off your Fourth of July weekend at the 39th Annual Boogie's Buddy Race! Presented by East Coast Asset Management Mike Connolly, Aspen, this is one of Aspen's most anticipated summer events.
Hurry, race entry fees increase on June 1st! Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, we've got a race for you! With a 5-mile, 5k, and a family fun run, everyone can join in on the fun. Plus, the race is family and pet-friendly, so bring along your little ones and furry friends. All runners are welcome to pick up a race shirt, sizing available on a first-come, first-serve basis!
This family and pet-friendly event supports the Buddy Program’s four youth mentoring programs and over 600 youth, families, and volunteers from Aspen to Glenwood Springs, and Rifle!

8:00 am: 5-Mile Race
8:05 am: 5k Race
9:00 am: 1-Mile Family and Canine Run/Walk
PRICES:

Day of Race: $75/individual
Family Fun Run (only): $150/family (registration for a family of six or fewer members, not timed, only one bib per family)
Registering on the day of the event:
Online registration for 5k and 5-Mile Races close at 7 am on July 4, there will be no in-person registrations on race day
Only Family Fun Run will be allowed to register after 7 am until 9 am on race day, please note this race does not provide timing
