The course runs through Kaibab Park as well as downtown Granby! Start and finish areas are at the Destination Granby offices (516 East Agate Ave.). The course elevation is 7,935 feet.
The run is open to anyone and everyone, from 1 to 100! This year's run is strictly a fun run (not timed). We will have several color stations along the course, and fun for all!
There will be a water station along the route, as well as bottled water and a grab and go snack at the finish.
Event details and schedule
Start time is 10:30 AM, with day of registration beginning at 9:30 AM. Day of registration is $5 more per entry (day of shirts not guaranteed). Pre-registration is available until 3PM on Wenesday, July 1. Start and finish areas are located at Destination Granby, 516 East Agate Ave., Granby, CO 80446. Race t-shirts will be available at Granby Town Hall (0 Jasper Ave.) by Thursday, July 3, for pre-registered participants, and at Destination Granby the day of the event. Parking is available at the site and surrounding streets.

Get ready for an epic adventure at the 2026 Slacker Races!
Seize the chance to earn your bragging rights as a true Slacker! Embark on this exhilarating journey starting at the base of Loveland Ski Area, perched at an impressive elevation of 10,630ft. Brace yourself for an unforgettable descent to 8,400ft, followed by post-race festivities in charming historic Georgetown. Picture an abundance of freebies, locally crafted beer, post race pampering, and entertainment to celebrate your achievement!
The course is a thrilling mix of dirt and paved roads, guiding participants through enchanting wetlands, natural waterfalls, breathtaking views of the Continental Divide, and remnants of historic mining sites.

Devil's Thumb Ranch is happy to present the first annual 5K/15K running race and walk that will start at Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa. The course consists of gentle rolling hills and moderate elevation gain. Fun for all levels.

7:00am- Packet Pickup and Check In & Day-Of registration begins in Broad Axe Barn.
9:00 am- Timed Run/Walk commences
10:30am- Award Ceremony
Course/Timing:
-Water, Gatorade and fruit will be provided after the course.
Prizes:
-Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall finishers. The top finishers in age groups 5-8, 9-12 will also recieve awards!
-Every participant will be entered in a drawing to win additional prizes.
-Every participant will receive a commemorative glass!

-There is parking available in the lower parking lot at Devil's Thumb Ranch, which is left of the main lodge.
