“A Hometown race with Hometown Hospitality”
Course: The race starts and finishes at the Jay City Park. The course is scenic running through the neighboring countryside and looping around the local Jay Elementary and Jay High School campus. The last half of the course is run on a paved road that splits cotton and peanut fields on both sides. The course is basically flat and makes for fast times!
Awards: Trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 Finishers in each of 32 age groups! Overall Awards will be given to the Top Male/Female Open Runners, Master Runners, Grand Master Runners, and Senior Grand Master Runners. There will be awards for the Top 3 Male/Female Walkers and Wheelchair Participants in the 5K and Mile Runs. T-shirts guaranteed to the first 100 runners who register.
Post Race: Watermelon and refreshments will be served to all participants following the race. Proceeds from the race go toward next year’s race!

Entry fee: $25.00, on race day - $30.00
One Mile Fun Run $10.00 for an optional shirt purchase. The run is free! Sizes: YS, YM, YL

Late Registration and T-Shirt Pick-up: Will be taken beginning at 6:30a.m on race day at the Jay City Hall.

Death by 5k is coming BACK to Florida!
Think you have what it takes to finish the Death by 5k challenge?
Taking place at the beautiful property of Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center, Death by 5k requires participants to run (or walk) ten 5ks over 24 hours, starting each 5k 2.5 hours apart. (8 am, 1030 am, 1 pm, 330 pm, 6 pm, 830 pm, 11 pm, 130 am, 4 am, 630 am)
Race HQ will be the event venue known as The Barn and the course will be a loop through the property, alongside Coldwater Creek. The route will be mostly single track with lots of roots and some rocks, along with some atv packed sand roads.
Hot food will be served at 830 am, 130 pm, 9 pm and 430 am. Snacks will be available throughout the event. Water and Gatorade will be available as well.
Participants can spend time between 5ks in a camping tent, hammock, under a pop up tent, or in their vehicles. Tent campsites will be available in the adjacent grass field. These sites are $20 for one tent, up to four people per tentsite. The tent camping fee will be collected at packet pick up. The tent camping field will have plenty of room and sites will be first come first served. The tent camping field is within a short walk to the start line and race hq.
Participants will receive an event shirt, along with other event swag. Finishers will receive one of the coveted handmade finisher's coffin.
Initial registration will be limited to 175 participants. After that, a waitlist will be opened. Additional participants may be selected if slots are opened.
