The Tour de Thorncliffe is back for 2026 with ambitious targets and exciting prizes.
A collaboration between the Thorncliffe Park Autism Support Network (TPASN) and the Women’s Cycling Network, with support from organizational partners The Neighbourhood Office, Gateway Bike Hub and Cycle Toronto, this annual event raises money to provide free summer camps for children with special needs.
Inclusive Summer Camps That Make a Difference
Our camps have been a tremendous success, bringing together children with and without neuro-developmental disorders in an environment that fosters awareness, understanding, and acceptance. “While there were free camps in the city, none were open to children with special needs,” says TPASN’s Dr. Shakhlo Sharipova—which is why our inclusive model is so vital.
Each year, demand for these camps grows, and the need for support from families in our community continues to rise. We’re calling on the community and local businesses to help us raise $20,000 to fund camps in Thorncliffe Park and Flemingdon Park. Every contribution, big or small, helps create life-changing experiences for children.
With your support, we can:
✔ Provide a free, enriching camp experience for 70 children, helping them build social skills, enjoy the benefits of outdoor play, and develop healthy habits.
✔ Hire qualified educators and one-on-one assistants to support children with high sensory and behavioural needs.
✔ Cover materials, nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch & snacks), and specialized entertainers who create an engaging, inclusive environment for kids with autism and other neuro-developmental differences.
Together, we can ensure every child has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive—regardless of ability.

Central United Church (CUC) is working to raise awareness and funds for groundbreaking ALS research at Sunnybrook Hospital's Brain Sciences Program, in honour of longtime CUC member and Unionville resident, Lynne Pulenzas. This 5K run/walk event is not only a fundraiser - it is a celebration of Lynne's strength as she has faced this disease, her legacy of kindness, and the love that surrounds her. To learn more about Lynne's story click here. By coming together in an active way, we honour her fight and help move closer to a world without ALS.
To walk or run with us, and help work towards eliminating ALS, click the "Register" button! As you register, you will be prompted to set up your own fundraising page to send to your friends and family. We suggest a fundraising goal of $1000, but any amount is great! You can also make your own donation to Sunnybrook as part of the registration process.
To donate to Sunnybrook without registering to walk or run, click one of the "Donate Now" buttons or click "Donate to Participant" to the left of the page to sponsor a specific walker/runner's fundraising efforts. Charitable tax receipts will be automatically issued by Sunnybrook through Race Roster for donations over $10.
