If you love fireworks and you love America then we'll see you at the 18th annual Fireworks 5k June 27th! Take a run or walk through Richmond's Glen Miller Park in the second race in the Wayne County Challenge Series. There will awards for the top finishers plus age group winners. Proceeds go to American Legion Harry Ray post 65 for the city of Richmond fireworks display. Get signed up now to guarantee yourself a cool race shirt and refreshments at the finish line! So join us for the most American 5k in the history of ever! The Fireworks 5k June 27 presented by G101-3!

Packet pickup begins at 8am on race day. The 5k starts at 9am.

Join us for the Fort4Fitness Summer Sunrise Relay! Sign up your team (or as an individual) to run as many one-mile laps as possible during the four-hour time frame. The 2026 event location is the MedPro Group campus on Reed Road in Fort Wayne.
Tents, coolers and other supplies to keep you going are encouraged! You can look forward to activities around the course, free water stations and live entertainment throughout the day. Participants receive an event tank top (or visor) and medal.
Those participating on a team should designate a "captain" who can create a unique team name and password to be shared with other team members when registering.
This event will be held rain or shine. No refunds will be given.

Pocahontas Swim Club is celebrating their 66th year of summer fun! As many of you have heard we have undertaken a major renovation project to revitalize the pool. This summer you will be able to enjoy the pool with a brand-new micro glass coating and tiled lane lines. This capstone project will serve us for decades to come. We are hosting a 5k Run/ Walk , and kids 1 mile Run on 6/28 to show off our beautiful new pool and to help raise money for this project. This is a community event, and we are welcoming all participants from the race to enjoy the pool for the day. Each race participant will receive a pass for 6/28 to enjoy our beautiful new pool. Already a member? Use your pass to bring a guest for the day! We look forward to celebrating with you and thank you for your support!

Mountain bike riders, trail runners and wheelchair athletes will take on the technical dirt trails of Franke Park during the heat of the summer in the Hot Summer Singletrack.
Mountain bike riders can take on the six hour challenge or settle for a more reasonable three hour ride on a seven-mile loop of the technical dirt trails of Franke Park.
Wheelchair athletes can choose to follow a challenging course of paved path and gravel road for either three or six hours.
Trail runners can take on the six hour challenge or settle for a more reasonable three hour ride on a three-mile loop of the technical dirt trails of Franke Park.
The race begins at 8AM.

Appleseeds Cross Country is a competitive cross country racing team. Our team is open to kids going into Kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. We compete in several meets throughout the course of the season, which are outlined below. Appleseeds welcomes kids from all schools in the area as well as kids who are homeschooled.
We have 3 age groups: elementary school, middle school, and high school. Elementary athletes will race 1 mile, middle schoolers will race 3k, and high schoolers will race 5k.
The race schedules will differ between age groups. Please make sure you register for the appropriate level based on your child's age. The grades are denoted in parentheses next to the name of the level.
We will practice Monday and Wednesday evenings beginning August 10th through September 30th.

We are excited to announce The Getting Miles Athletic Club's first annual Fort Wayne Park Race Series. Participants aged 12 and under are eligible to compete in this race series.
The Buckner Park Dash is a one mile race on the recreation trail in Buckner Park.
Make sure you arrive early to find a good parking spot, warm up, use the restrooms and pick up your race bib.
Series participants need to return their race bibs to the packet pickup station in order to receive points for the race. You will use the same race bib for all the events.
Runners will receive a race decal to put on their bib at the finish line.
Be sure to return your race bib to packet pickup after you finish the race. You will use the same bib for the entire season!
We are collecting non-perishable food items to help fill the local food lockers to help local families in need.
The Getting Miles Athletic Club is a local organization whose goal is to provide a community for recreational athletes of all levels.
