Boramae Track Running Crew (BTRC) is a notable and inclusive running community that has been part of the Seoul, South Korea, running scene since October 2018. Founded by Jake, the crew is based in the city's beautiful Boramae Park, where they meet twice a week for evening runs. With a diverse membership of nearly 200 runners, BTRC is committed to the transformative power of running for both physical fitness and mental well-being, providing a welcoming space where everyone can enjoy the joy and benefits of the sport.

Since everyone is born the same year there is no age-related hierarchy within the community and everyone is considered a leader. Therefore everyone takes turns being in charge of organizing the monthly 1991 running gathering

Guided by #CrewLove, the club hosts regular runs ranging from 7 to 12 kilometers through Seoul’s scenic spots like Han River Park and Namsan Park, blending fitness with camaraderie. Creative director Make-1 and longtime pacemaker James shape the crew’s distinctive, energetic identity rooted in the city’s dynamic street culture. As part of Seoul’s lively running scene, PRRC offers newcomers a welcoming space to explore the city’s unique mix of tradition and modern energy on foot, fostering genuine bonds that connect local runners and crews worldwide.

Founded in June 2022 by Minho Heo and Gibaek Kim, Off Running Crew has quickly carved out a unique space in Seoul’s vibrant running community. Starting with just 10 passionate members, the crew fosters a welcoming atmosphere where runners of all backgrounds come together to explore the city and themselves. Their slogan, “OFF to ____,” invites each runner to pursue personal goals while moving collectively toward limitless possibilities. Meeting every Sunday at 6 pm, Off Running Crew navigates Seoul’s diverse landscapes—from bustling Myeongdong streets to tranquil Han River trails—covering 5 to 10 kilometres at a steady pace. Beyond fitness, their runs weave through historic landmarks and urban parks, turning each outing into a shared story of perseverance and connection. Embracing inclusivity and creativity, Off Running Crew adds a fresh, intimate energy to Seoul’s rich running scene, inviting newcomers to join a community where every stride is both a personal journey and a celebration of the city’s dynamic spirit.

Founded in 2014 by Younkeun Ji, UCON Seoul is a running crew rooted in the belief that collective action can inspire meaningful change. With around 200 members, the crew blends running with social impact, encouraging each runner to donate a small amount per kilometer to support children’s causes. Rather than focusing on speed or distance, UCON fosters connection and inclusivity, meeting bi-weekly near Seoul’s iconic Namsan Mountain. This natural landmark serves as both a physical and symbolic home, linking the crew to the city’s vibrant history and dynamic energy. Runs weave through urban streets and green spaces, offering moments for reflection on shared values and community responsibility. UCON’s approach transforms running into a movement where every step contributes to a larger purpose, inviting newcomers to join a welcoming group dedicated to social good and collective wellbeing amid Seoul’s ever-evolving landscape.
