    NYC Cup 2026 Champion Jersey

    REGISTRATION

    Day-of registration for any field that is not sold out begins 1.5 hour before and ends 20 minutes prior to your field start time. You need to have your UCI or USAC license active to register. An additional $15 late fee applies for day-of registration. Please sign up online to expedite the registration process and avoid potential errors. If you have a timing chip from another race, please keep it on your bicycle.

    You can transfer your registration at BikeReg for free to someone else. If you need to cancel, please notify the organizer in advance.

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    Riders must stay to the right of the double yellow line at all times.

    Please pull off the course upon the request of race officials or the pace moto.

    Keep the road clear while waiting for your field's start.

    Start at Lake Welch parking lot.

    Finish at Lake Welch Parkway by parking lot entrance

    NUMBERS:

    Bibs must be pinned on the RIGHT side of the rider’s jersey. Incorrect placement of numbers may result in incorrect/missing results.

    AWARDING CEREMONY:

    Starts about 15 minutes after Cat123 finish - around 1.30PM by Lake Welch boardwalk (between triathlon finish line and transition). So, you can enjoy watching race finish and even watch triathlon finish.

    Racers must be present at the podium ceremony to receive prizes. Racers not present will forfeit their prizes.

    RESULTS:

    Will be posted on Road-Results.com and the USA Cycling website, usually within 48 hours.

    COURSE:

    Steep downhill from the start, then rolling hills at Tiorati Brook rd, then flat and smooth at Seven Lakes Drive and slight uphill before finish. Strava Segment is here. GPX can be downloaded here. Please arrive in advance to get familiar with new race course and setup. The course remains open to the public and is controlled by signage, cones, and marshals at key locations.

    FEEDING ZONE: Located just after the St. Johns Rd intersection on laps 3–5 (40.5-mile mark). Trash drop is located after the finish line, beyond the barriers, 5 minutes ride from feeding zone. Our volunteer will be handing out water. Anyone else who would like to provide their own water or gels is welcome to do so. Access via Kanawauke Rd. Please park on the street by St. Johns Church and walk to the feeding zone. No parking is allowed on Lake Welch Parkway.

    SUGGESTION: after finishing your race keep left to return back to the parking lot

    Everyone is welcome to help but all vehicles on the race course must be registered. Support vehicles may follow the group of cyclists without interfering with the race.     DIRECTIONS:

    By car: Follow GPS to 800 Kanawauke Rd, Stony Point, NY 10980.

    Take exit 14 from Palisades Pkwy (comes unexpectedly right after 13), turn left to Willow Grove Rd. Enter from Kanawauke Rd and park closer to Lake Welch beach.

    Rideshare: Carpooling. It’s as easy as it sounds – sharing a ride with others is a smart way to go. Learn more about carpooling at 511nyrideshare.org which can provide some help getting you to Harriman State Park.

    Taking train then Riding bicycle: Take PATH train to Hoboken and transfer to MNBNP train to Sloatsburg station. Ride on Seven Lakes Drive 5.7mi and turn to Lake Welch Pkwy for another 3.1mi.

    WATER, BATHROOMS & TRASH

    You can pick up a free bottle of water from the cooler inside the race organizer's van or use the water fountain by the stationary restrooms. Please use the trash receptacle by the registration desk or any other trash cans.

    NOTES:

    The race course is open for cars. The lead-out motorcycle will ensure your way is safe. Please be careful anyway.

    Welcome to Diamond Mountain Triathlon,

    hosted in the scenic heart of Harriman State Park. The course features a calm lake swim, a rolling 15-mile bike loop with spectacular views, and a fun lakeside run to the finish. The event is beginner-friendly while still rewarding strong competitors.

    Triathlon: 0.5mi swim in Lake Welch. Biking is one 15-mile lap around the park, Strava record is here. 2 mile run, Strava record is here.

    Registration for Triathlon and Duathlon:

    Check-in opens 1 hour before start and closes 20 minutes before start.

    Online registration is recommended — it keeps things smooth and helps avoid mistakes at the table.

    Note: you can participate only in one race since they're running simultaneously

    Race numbers

    Jersey number should be placed on the front. Bicycle number goes either on the seat post (more aero) or on the top tube. Helmet number goes on the front. Registration desk has markers to draw a number on the left arm and leg for your swim.

    Race results: Draft results will be posted shortly after the last finisher (no later than 2:45 PM).

    Official online results (with transition splits) are normally available within 48 hours.

    Awards: Top-3 Men and Women for each race get medals and merchandise. Age group awards will be offered if turnout meets minimums. Rest of participants get finisher medals.

    Overall Man and Woman triathlon winners get special triathlon suit with race logo as an award.

    Body marking on the left arm & leg helps timers during swim exit.

    Bicycle requirements: Any bike is fine — just make sure it’s in safe working condition and suited for rolling terrain. No rental bikes will be available.
