The Fatathlon is back—and this year we’re bringing our Fat Bike + Cornhole Biathlon to LAMBO’s brand new Sucker Springs Single Track in Conover, near Eagle River, Wisconsin. Our trail crews have been dialing in the course so it’s fun, rideable, and race-worthy, with a mix of terrain and longer, wider sections for passing.

Here’s the twist that makes the Fatathlon a true crowd favorite: you can improve your time with cornhole. You’ll throw bags before and after your ride, and each bag sunk in the hole takes 1 minute off your race time. Strong rider? Great. Good hand-eye coordination? Maybe even better. Either way, it’s a surprisingly perfect way to level the playing field and keep the day light, competitive, and fun.

    Choose your race

    • Short Race: 2 laps (about 10 miles)

    • Long Race: 4 laps (about 20 miles)

    • Mass start racing

    More than a race

Expect a full-on winter trail party: campfires, snacks, refreshments, and classic fat bike camaraderie with friends, family, and fellow riders.

And yes—there will be food and beer:

    • Jambalaya from our food gurus, Jason and Melissa Sherman

    • Beer provided by Bare Bones Brewery

    • Other N/A refreshments available.

    Day-of schedule

    • 8:30–10:00 AM | On-site check-in

    • 10:30 AM | Race start (mass start)

    • Awards + raffles | After the last racer is in

    Cost

$45: online registration before the race.

$50: ons site, day of race.

Presented by LAMBO as a fundraiser for trail building and maintenance. Every registration helps us build, improve, and maintain singletrack throughout the Lakeland Area.
