The kid's dash is a fun, untimed dash for our kiddos ages 10 and under. Registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specifically crafted medal for our kids' dash event! (If your child wants to run the kid's dash, and doesn't want the SWAG, they are welcome to run with us on race day for free!)

Halloween-themed 5K run/walk. Proceeds go to Saukville Elementary School's Saukville Parent's Association to reduce parent's fees for school activities, and to fulfill teacher's monthly requests to enhance student's learning experiences. Participants are invited to dress up in costume. Cash Prizes awarded to overall male and female winners, as well as top male and female in each age division. There is a costume contest after the race, with prizes awarded. We will have a bounce House and DJ, and serve a pumpkin pancake breakfast following race.
New this year: Saukville Elementary School's SPA will be hosting a Kid's Trick or Treat Fun Walk! There will be four fun trick or treat stops along this shortened route - all proceeds go to SPA. Open to kids 12 and under, bring your trick or treat bag and costume!
Check-in will open up at 8am on Saturday, October 18th at the shelter at Grady Park. The race will start at 9am, with breakfast and prizes to follow. We'll have you on your way before 11am so you have plenty of time for the rest of your weekend activities!

Each lap consists of drinking 12 ounces of beer from 3 Sheeps Brewing Company (included in the registration fee), followed by a quarter-mile run. We're thrilled to announce the return of Stephenson County's exclusive, eagerly anticipated 5K, 10K, and half-marathon, the Run Stephenson County Event is on October 17, 2026, at 9:00 AM. As a proud component of our Annual Support Campaign, the proceeds we gather annually play a vital role in enabling children, families, seniors, neighbors, and others to access YMCA programs and memberships at discounted rates.
In 2026, we will be utilizing the same course as 2025! All events will start and end at the Jane Addams Trailhead in Orangeville, IL.
The Half Marathon course offers a flat start and finish with rolling hills in the middle!
The 5k and 10k courses are designed to be PR-worthy, offering runners the opportunity to achieve their personal best in a scenic and supportive environment.
All runners at every distance will receive a high-quality tech shirt. All half-marathon finishers will receive a finisher medal, and the top finishers will receive trophies. The 5k and 10k events will provide overall and age group awards.
Mark your calendars for an unforgettable experience combining Stephenson County's picturesque countryside with captivating tourist attractions.

Our nature based 5K Run/Walk or 2 mile walk will begin at Roscoe Middle School (RMS). The route proceeds west to the historic Stone Bridge Trail before turning south as you continue to pound the crushed limestone path. You will reach the halfway point, turn around and return to RMS.

Join the Oconomowoc Public Education Foundation (OPEF) for a 1-mile or 2-mile run to support our schools! This fall, OPEF is striving to raise at least $25,000 to fund new gymnastics equipment for the elementary schools, sound system improvements at the middle school, and more!
OPEF is a collaborative partner of the Oconomowoc Area School District (OASD). OPEF raises and provides funds for innovative educational opportunities and experiences not funded in the core school district budget – including classroom grants, facilities improvements, and innovative curriculum. Race Description
Join us on October 31th, 2026, for a scenic run through the Southern Kettle Moraine Forest on the historic Ice Age Trail. Participants can choose between 100k and 50k distances. Each finisher will have the opportunity to brand their wooden medal on-site, with the option to have their finishing time burned on the back. Enjoy the stunning fall colors and be part of this memorable event.

The 100k and 50 races will both start at DJ Mackie Campground, situated on the Scuppernong trails. Participants will navigate the green loop of the Scuppernong trail and proceed to join the Ice Age Trail westward to Emma Carlin. The 50k runners will turn around at Emma Carlin, while the 100k runners will continue on to Whitewater. Join us Saturday, October 31st for our 9th annual Galena River Fall Half Marathon & 8K!
This is a fast, flat half marathon along the scenic Galena River Trail. An 8K race option is also offered.

**Due to Galena Halloween festivities on that day, the course will close at 11:00 AM. Because of this no walkers are allowed for the half marathon and runners must finish before the course closes.
🔷 Packet Pickup will be Friday, Oct 30th from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm and Saturday morning 7:00 am -7:45 am below the Highway 20 bridge in the Train Depot parking area where the race is also held. Friends are allowed to pick up for another participant.
🔷 Gear Check is available at the packet pickup table. Please have your gear bag labeled.
🔷 Hydration/fuel stations with water, electrolyte beverage and GU will be at miles 2, 3.5, 9, 11, 12.

🔹Course Route: this is an out and back course, utilizing first the south end of the trail and turning around at the 5.50 mile marker and return to the start, which would be the equivalent of 11 miles, runners will then proceed around the start and head north on the trail for a short out and back for the remaining mileage, back to finish line for your 13.10 miles!🎉
For the 8k distance, the course is also an out and back, and will begin the same as the half, with the turnaround marked at 2.50 miles and race back to the finish line!🎉
Enjoy the autumn colors and remarkable scenery along the shores of the Fox River. The Freaky 5K is for participants of all ages and abilities. Come out to enjoy a day with friends, family and co-workers. There is even a COSTUME CONTEST for you to channel your inner child.

Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun!!
The Lakefront Discovery Run features fun, with a 15k, a 5k, and a FREE Kids run!. Each distance can be run, walked, skipped, or hopped. There are age group awards as well as for overall winners. More importantly, there will be an award for ‘Best Costume’ as voted on by the event volunteers (please don’t attempt to bribe the volunteers. Bribe the Race Director, because at the end of the day, it's their call). Those in Costume get FREE BEER!! Also should be noted, those NOT IN Costume get free beer too (but no ALL CAPS announcement for them, damnit).
The run begins at Veteran's Park and provides a delightful tour of Milwaukee’s lakefront. Candy laden aid stations line the course to fuel your run and satisfy your sweet tooth, and MONSTER MILE Markers along the way. Each runner/volunteer receives an event t-shirt (Runners who register after Oct 18th ARE NOT guaranteed a shirt), traditional post-race snacks, spooky music (what does that even mean?), and enough candy to make a dentist cringe! We ordered great weather, but just in case, we'll have a heated tent for the post race shenanigans. Come out and celebrate a successful season of running!

Begin your winter running season with meaning at the Vets Day 5K & 10K presented by Cargill & hosted by Silver Circle on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the War Memorial. This special event honors our veterans and active-duty service members and is part of the Wisconsin Chilly Willy Winter Run Series. Join hundreds of runners as you make your way through the beautiful Veterans Park in the only race that starts and finishes on Mason Street, right in front of the War Memorial. After the race, stick around for the awards ceremony and treat yourself to our hot chocolate bar.

The Vets Day 5K & 10K is also proud to partner with Silver Circle Foundation to help raise money for Operation Final Home. Operation Finally Home was established in 2005 and builds custom, mortgage-free homes to America’s veterans and their families. All money donated as part of registration for this race will be donated to Operation Finally Home to help support their mission.
