Our beloved free marathon build up program for the Lakefront Marathon (or similarly timed Fall marathons/half marathons) is the result of a great team of volunteers. The runs start at 6 miles and build up over 12-13 weeks to 22 miles increasing by just two miles per week. Volunteers are needed to set up and staff aid stations for program participants - consider signing up to help!

Why Move Beloit?
Move Beloit was inspired by the lifelong community involvement and activism of Beloiter David F. Luebke. David received accolades for his athletic achievements through the years, but he was perhaps most well-known for tirelessly promoting his hometown. He first worked to improve the community through many decades in education, and later became City Council President and involved in numerous boards and volunteer organizations.
