Hitchhiker Bike Shop, Talta Lodge, and the Stowe Trails Partnership are thrilled to bring back Velo Stowe for its fourth year. Enjoy a scenic, fully marked gravel ride while helping to raise money for the Stowe Trails Partnership.

Join us on Saturday, June 27th for a marked course gravel ride around Stowe’s dirt roads. Both routes feature some short, but challenging Class IV riding, rolling dirt roads, covered bridges, and more.

After your ride, meet back up with us at Tälta Lodge for some well-deserved food and beverages.

Need a place to stay for the weekend? Use code velostowe2026 to save 20% on lodging at Talta!

    When: Saturday, June 27th, 2026.

    9:00am: Registration opens.

10:00:am: The rides depart from Tälta

Where: Rides will begin from and end at Tälta Lodge, located at 3343 Mountain Road, Stowe

    Route info:

We plan to offer the same two route options as last year; a shorter 25 mile route and a longer 45 mile route. Not many folks completed the longer route with last year's rain and challenging conditions, so let's give it another go!

Click the links below to preview each option:

    25 Mile Route

    45 Mile Route

We recommend a gravel bike or hardtail mountain bike with tires that are at least 40c for this ride. Road bikes are not recommended.

The full proceeds of this event will go to Stowe Trails Partnership to help support their efforts to maintain and enhance the trails in the greater Stowe area. Your registration cost includes a meal and drink ticket, access to the remote aid stations, and vendor village. Participants will also receive custom Velo Stowe socks while supplies last!
