Race benefits Northern Piedmont Sports Club. Northern Piedmont Sports Club’s mission is to improve child and community wellness by providing recreational and competitive sports opportunities to communities in the northern Piedmont region of Virginia.

NPSC is located in Warrenton, VA and serves the entire northern Piedmont region of Virginia offering recreational and travel soccer, recreational and travel volleyball, basketball, flag football, and cheerleading.

Fauquier County, the home of the Fourth Chief Justice John Marshall, Civil War Colonel John Mosby and stopping off point for General Lafayette on his victory tour of 1825. Run the historic streets of Warrenton, Virginia. Begin at the Old Jail Museum built in 1808 and 1823, past the Warren Green Hotel where General George McClellan gave his farewell speech, off to the Greenway and back to the Old Jail Museum.

Entrance free to museum with proof of bib on race day. Have lunch in historic Old Town Warrenton.
