Please join us on our 4th Annual All Clubs Ladies Ride to shine a light on Heart Health. The cycling community in Maryland along with some of our sister clubs in surrounding areas have come together this year to do one all clubs ladies' ride to show solidarity across all the clubs. The theme for this year's ride will be Heart Health as heart disease kills more women than ALL forms of cancer combined and also kills more than 50,000 women of color annually. The event rolls rain or shine. We will be at Pavillion West.
In honor of Heart Health, we are asking all women to wear red.
Lunch will be provided and there will be Vegan and Vegetarian options available
Registration includes: Lunch, Rest-Stop Refreshments, T-shirt, and a charitable donation.
T-shirts will be available at registration pickup to all participants who register prior to August 13, 2026. After that date, t-shirt availability will be on a first come first serve basis based on what we have left.
There will be 2 ride distances: Approximately 33mile and 21mile
We want everyone to return close to the same time so we ask that you pick your route accordingly based on your skill level. There will be SAG provided for the both routes; however, SAG will be for bike malfunctions only. Please make sure your bike is in good working order prior to the ride. There will be bike mechanics on-site prior to the ride so if you are unsure of the condition of your bike, we encourage you to get it checked prior to the ride if you have not already done so prior to the day of the event. These mechanics will be available on a first come first serve basis and can not guarantee they can repair all bikes prior to the start of the ride. There are a few rollers and we want to make sure everyone rides and returns safely. You are responsible for having your own tire change supplies as SAG will be there to assist with tire changes and mechanical issues only. If you have not been riding your bike but still want to participate in the ride, please be on the lookout for clinics
that will be held prior to the event.
PLEASE CHECK BACK CLOSER TO THE EVENT DATE FOR UPDATED ROUTES

Standard Description
2026 HEAT IS HERE!General: Running + Beer + BBQ = Be there! 25k or 50k all trail, and a great after-party! The trails are technical and challenging, yet approachable because of our generous 25k cutoffs (we don't really have one). A great course to hike, run, or both. The after party will include craft beer, great food, and general fun! The 50k is a challenging attempt - you should honestly feel like a King when you finish it - but always able to downgrade to the 25k during the event. Location and Parking:The location of the start/finish is: https://maps.app.goo.gl/spE6anGbkiAebMTT8Shelter # 707. There will be directions regarding parking when you enter the Pickall Area of the park off of Johnnycake Rd. There is parking on-site and we have a good number of parking spots, however, they are not unlimited. Whenever possible, please plan to carpool with other athletes running the race, or if you have friends or family coming to watch, have them come with you to ensure we have enough spots for everyone, particularly our race participants. There are bathrooms that are adjacent to the pavilions where we will be hosting the race. Start Time:The 50k will start at 7am The 25k will start at 9amCourse: The course consists of rolling single track with two river crossings. There is a very short paved section through a parking area, but other than that, you will not touch pavement on this course. You will get 2000ft+ of vertical gain with a couple of healthy climbs. Some of the course is very technical and rocky, but there are other smooth and runnable sections. Variety is the name of the game on this course. There are 3 areas of the course that involve out-and-backs. The first involves the climb to Valley Overlook, a stunning view overlooking the valley. There you will pick up a wrist band (50k athletes will end up with 2 wrist bands). You need to show us the wrist band at the finish line to get credited with a finish, but then the bands are yours to keep! The other 2 out-and-backs or short sections that will take you to our aid stations on the back half of the course. These are mandatory out-and-backs, and our aid station volunteers will be checking off bib numbers to ensure completion. Here is a link to the course on Strava. This is the OFFICIAL race course: https://www.strava.com/routes/3308117812416047072Aid Stations:Aid stations will occur at approximately:2 miles 5.25 miles8 miles11.5 miles16 milesAll aid stations will have Tailwind and Water as well as standard fair, both sweet and savory to keep you going. Everything at the aid stations will be real food, we will not have gels, etc. so if that is your preference make sure to carry them. Finish:At the finish we party. We pride ourselves on having a great spread of food and beers to help you refuel and celebrate your hard work. There will be access to bathrooms, water, and plenty of shelter under our two large pavilions. 50k Info
Many will do the 25k, though the ultra 50k is growing more popular each year. The 50k consists of 2 loops of the 25k course. The aid stations will be the same and located at the same intervals. It is required to pick up a wrist band at the top of the Valley Overlook climb EACH LOOP, so you will have two wrist bands at the end to officially complete the course. We do not have very strict cutoffs for the event, however, we cannot let 50k competitors out for a second loop if they complete the first loop after 12pm NOON. So basically athletes are allotted 5 hours per loop. Athletes should be able to access the park starting at 6am. The race kicks off at 7am sharp.
Parking
As mentioned above, we have fairly ample, but not unlimited parking. The parking is adjacent to the pavilions and start/finish line. Please carpool if at all possible.

Location: Rocky Gap State Park in Flintstone, MD
Disciplines: Trekking, paddling, mountain biking, navigation.

It’s no secret that we adore Rocky Gap State Park and it absolutely has a special place in our hearts and the hearts of thousands of EX2 racers. We’ve been hosting races in the park since 2004, and three years we introduced this brand new ultra distance trail running event. We are thrilled to bring back the Rocky Gap 25K, 50K, and Relay Trail Running Race for year four! We hope you join us for an awesome adventure in the mountains of western Maryland.
Race Date: Sunday October 11, 2026
Start Time: 8:30am (50K), 9:00am (25K)
Location: Rocky Gap State Park in Flintstone, MD
Course Length: 25K (~16ish miles) and 50K (~32ish miles)
Course Format: 3 different loops. 25K does each loop once, while the 50K does each loop twice
Entry types: Solo runners and relay teams of 2 or 3 in both the 25K and 50K
The race highlights three different beautiful loops in the park that vary in length between 4.4 miles and 6.5 miles. We are calling these loops simply Loop A, Loop B, and Loop C. The 25K race does each loop once in order (A, B, C) with a total elevation change of about 1,300 feet. The 50K race does each loop twice in order (A, B, C…then A, B, C again) with a total elevation change of about 2,600 feet.
Loop A – Rocky Trail
Loop A is 6.5 miles with 500+ feet of elevation change and some moderate singletrack sections. The route follows the Lakeside Loop Trail for approximately 1.4 miles until it takes a left turn up a trail that we affectionately call Evitt’s Revenge (it’s steep). After a really fantastic .2 mile climb, the route takes a right onto Rocky Trail where it continues to climb until about mile 2.7. After topping out, the route heads downhill via the Setters Path trail and the Hickory Loop in the campground to the Lakeside Loop Trail. The route then follows the Lakeside Loop around the lake back to the staging area.
Loop B – Canyon Overlook
Loop B is 4.4 miles with about 500 feet of elevation change and highlights some lesser known singletrack in the park. The route follows the Lakeside Loop Trail for approximately 1 mile until it reaches the dam road and then continues straight across the road and up a steep (but short) section of trail to the ridge above the gorge. The route then traverses above the gorge to the left to the Canyon Overlook Trail and then returns back to the dam road to Old Hancock Road. The route then takes a right on Old Hancock Road (doubletrack) and then a left on an awesome 1.5 mile trail that leads back to Lake View Drive. The route then follows the Lake View Drive back to the staging area.
Loop C – Lakeside Loop
Loop C is 5.2 with about 250 feet of elevation change and follows the complete Lakeside Loop Trail. The route is amazingly beautiful with water views most of the way around.
In terms of anticipated difficultly, Loop A is the hardest followed by Loop B. Loop C is the easiest of the three loops since it is generally flat around the lake.
Course maps, elevation profiles, etc. are on the race website.
