The RVA Sprint Triathlon is Richmond’s only pool sprint triathlon. Hosted by the Rockville Center, this race is set in beautiful Rockville, VA. Participants will enjoy a short pool swim, rolling
rural bike, and fun out-and-back run course. This event includes a classic sprint triathlon, kid’s splash & dash (swim-run), and new this year we will also have a shorter beginner-only race for first-time triathletes only. Prefer to not swim or run? No problem as we have both duathlon (run-bike-run) and aquabike (swim-bike) options. The RVA Sprint Tri will feature a “seeded” race start with the top 12 seeded women starting approximately 7 minutes ahead of the top 12 seeded men to set up an exciting battle of the sexes to cross the finish line first!
All Live Red Foundation events provide the funding for Live Red Foundation’s free fitness programs which teach life skills to children in low-opportunity communities. Learn more here!
Every finisher will receive a finisher’s medal. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female overall in the triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike as well as in each age group category for the triathlon and splash & dash.

The Motts 8 Miler is the fourth race in the FXBG Trail Series. Get ready for a course that keeps you on your toes from start to finish. This trail race winds and weaves through constant twists and
turns, demanding focus and rewarding quick feet. The singletrack flows in and out of the trees, with direction changes that keep every mile engaging and unpredictable.
Rolling hills define the rhythm of the day — short ups and downs that challenge your pacing and test your leg strength without ever feeling overwhelming. Just when you think you’ve settled in, the course reminds you to stay honest with another punchy rise or sweeping descent.
There’s one standout climb that anchors the course — the big effort of the day. It’s steady, sustained, and designed to make you work. Conquer it, and you’ll carry that momentum through the final winding miles, where the rollers continue to keep things lively all the way to the finish.
This is a race for runners who love movement, momentum, and a trail that never lets you switch to autopilot.

Triathlon is seen as a niche sport for elite athletes competing at a high level. At the Fawn Lake Triathlon, we like to think that paradigm can be expanded. Imagine an event that sees three
generations of a family competing on one day. Add to that, the entire Fawn Lake Community shows up! In 2025 we had 130 volunteers on the course, ensuring safety and supporting the athletes.
Finally, you will never find a better course on which to compete. You will get a pristine lake, gentle rolling hill ride on traffic-free roads and a fast, shady run course. If you want the perfect triathlon as a 1st timer or experienced racer, “Tri” Fawn Lake!
ADULT
700 meter swim in lake, 12.4 mile bike ride, and 5 km run.
YOUTH
10-15 years old: 225 meter pool swim, 6.2 mile bike ride, and 2 km run

Race benefits Hooves & Paws Animal Rescue. Hooves & Paws Animal Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue that provides rescue and sanctuary for abused and abandoned animals. After they are rescued, our
animals receive all the love and care they need and when they are ready, they are placed in loving adoptive homes. Animals who are not able to be adopted are provided lifelong care at our sanctuary. We have been saving animals since 2002 but recently relocated from Southern California to Louisa, Virginia. Our rescued dogs, cats, horses and farm animals are loving their beautiful new sanctuary in Virginia. As we continue to build new fencing and shelters, we hope to help many more animals who need a second chance.

Greetings, Four Miler friends!
The 43rd annual Charlottesville Women's Four Miler will be held at Foxfield on Saturday, August 30th, 2025. This much-loved community event began in 1983 and, since
then, has grown to become the largest women's-only race in Virginia while raising over 4.2 million dollars for the UVA Breast Care Center. We hope you will join in this fun, challenging, and deeply meaningful local tradition. Run or walk the beautiful countryside course, or participate virtually from anywhere.
All proceeds from registration fees go directly to the UVA Breast Care Center and we strongly encourage you to fundraise beyond this.
A special thanks for Foxfield for all the amazing support over all the years, and to the hundreds of local sponsors and volunteers who make this event possible. We would like to acknowledge the Charlottesville Track Club (CTC) for their years of support for this and many other local, not-for-profit events. Please consider becoming a member of the CTC here and follow their website and social media to stay current on upcoming events!
VIRTUAL OPTION: We understand it if you can’t make it to Foxfield, especially if you're traveling for the Labor Day holiday or live out of town. We’d still love to have you be a part of this special fundraising event, so please feel free to run or walk a four-mile course of your choosing close to home.

The Quarry 10.2 miler is the fifth race in the FXBG Trail series. This race begins with a peaceful stretch along the Rappahannock River, where the Beach Trail hugs the water and the sound of the
river sets the rhythm for your stride. The opening miles are smooth and scenic — a calm, steady start that invites you to settle in and enjoy the view before the course begins to build. As you move away from the river, the middle miles introduce a series of rolling hills that keep things lively. These ups and downs are playful but purposeful, testing your pacing and leg turnover while offering just enough recovery on the descents to stay strong.
Then comes the finale — one big climb that stands between you and the finish. It’s the defining challenge of the day, steady and demanding, asking for your last reserves of grit. Crest the top, and you’ll carry that hard-earned momentum toward the finish line, knowing you conquered the course from riverbank to summit.

Join us for a fast, flat course at the Stafford Regional Airport for a beautiful sunset run!
Go for Bo Race grew from the idea of having a fun, healthy, and challenging community event to support the
children and families of Bo, Sierra Leone, Africa.
The Republic of Sierra Leone is a country in West Africa, and Bo is a town of approximately 500,000 located in the Southern Province. Sierra Leone is known for mining and exporting diamonds, but it struggles to manage exploitation and export in the diamond trade. Most of its citizens live in extreme poverty. These factors have contributed to a situation in which child trafficking and public health are major problems.
That’s where we come in. For more than a decade, Ebenezer Church has been proud to partner with Helping Children Worldwide. Through its programs, the Child Reintegration Centre and Mercy Hospital, they provide critical services to families in Bo, Sierra Leone, Africa. Through our partnership, the people of Ebenezer Church have donated more than $250,000 to help build the hospital’s surgical wing, purchase an ambulance, and care for the children of Bo. This year, the relationship is expanding to support HCW’s education, family stability, maternal health, and childhood nutrition initiatives in Sierra Leone.
