The Lauren McCluskey Foundation’s Race for Campus Safety is an annual, community-driven event dedicated to raising awareness and funds to improve how colleges respond to relationship violence and stalking. Inspired by Lauren McCluskey’s life and legacy, the race brings together students, families, advocates, and campus communities in a shared commitment to systemic change. Participants of all ages run, walk, or volunteer to support the foundation’s mission of enhancing campus safety and accountability.
More than just a race, the event creates a space for learning, connection, and collective action. Attendees enjoy access to resources, educational booths, live entertainment, cheer squads, sports mascots, and fun activities like inflatable obstacle courses and yard games. Proceeds directly support the foundation’s work in research, advocacy, and programming to make campuses safer nationwide.
The 2026 Salt Lake City Race for Campus Safety will be held on October 31. Register early to take advantage of the early-bird rate for 2026! Choose from 1K, 5K, or 10K routes, meet and greet with mascots, and create or join a team!

Sub For Santa
We are also collecting donations for Sub For Santa at the Jolly Jog this year. The mission of the Cache County Sub for Santa program is to provide temporary assistance during the Christmas season to individuals and families residing in Cache County who are in need. The impact on each child they serve can be life changing, but the program moves beyond simply material goods, it also helps free up financial resources for families to avoid debt and/or focus on basics such as rent, food, and other needs that may be put to the side to afford Christmas for their family. With your help, they can continue to give.
You can donate right now here or when you register for the race.
The Jolly Jog 5K is in conjunction with the "The Center Street Holiday Festival".

Site for fulfilled virtual races
Dear Racers,
We have worked hard to make a system we can take info to send finisher medals, awards, tshirts and other things after the race. We hope this new system makes it easier for us to track and serve you and get your items in a timely and professional manner. No we are not Amazon being able to get shipments out in 24 to 48 hours but we are working hard to get these orders down to 7 to 10 days.
We are using this website to manage medals and shirts after a race. We will cover the fee if the error was ours. Things like running out of shirts, medals, or an award were wrong on race day. If a racer simply did not pick up their award after the race they must pay for shipping. We give these out freely on race day but you need to ask for them or attend the awards ceremony. Once you pay for shipping here there is no refund. If we made a mistake on race day please contact us for a code to have this shipping waived.
Run around the Olympic Oval as many times as you can in a time period to see who can run the most laps or fastest 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Full Marathon (Must be done in 4 hours).
