SPRINT TRIATHLON
500 meter swim, 16 mile bike, 5K run.
Swim - lake, water temperature may vary. View Wetsuit USA Triathlon Rules here. The temperature of the water will be determined on race morning and results will be announced.
Swimmers will line up in corrals reflecting their predicted swim time. Example: if your predicted swim time is 23 minutes; you will line up in a starting corral 20-25 minutes.
Bike - 2 loops,
Run - road and paved trails system of Little Elm

1500 meter swim, 24 mile bike, 10K run.

Join us for a fun morning of triathlon racing and then stay to enjoy The Cove indoor water park!
We are happy to offer race options for kids from age 4 up to age 15! Whether your young athlete is brand new to triathlon or they have been working hard on their race skills, we have a race for them!
There will be multiple age groups and recreational and competitive options for kids to participate in:

4-7years old recreational: Down the water slide + 20yd swim, 1.4mile bike, 0.5mile run

6-10 years old recreational: Down the water slide + lazy river + 20yd swim, 2.4mile bike, 0.5mile run

6-10 years old competitive: 50yd swim, 2.4mile bike, 0.5mile run

11-15 years old recreational: 100yd swim, 3.4mile bike, 1mile run

11-15 years old competitive: 100yd swim, 3.4mile bike, 1mile run
This event has sold out in advance of race day for the past two years, and we expect the same this year. Be sure to register early! Competitive waves will have chip timing and be eligible for awards, and every athlete will receive a finisher medal! Recreational waves will not be timed and will not be eligible for awards, but every athlete will receive a finisher medal!
6:00am Transition Area opens, body marking
8:00am Race begins for 11-15yo (competitive wave followed by recreational wave)
~9:00am* Race begins for 6-10yo (competitive wave followed by recreational wave) *or when all 11-15yo have started the run
~10:15am* Race begins for 4-7yo *or when all 6-10yo have started the run
~10:30am*- After Party- full access to the entire waterpark at no extra charge (get in for free with your race bib) Enjoy donuts from Hurts donuts. *access starts when all 4-7yo are finished with the swim
We recommend arriving to the race at least 90 minutes before your athlete's scheduled start time.
